Yes, it’s another edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Never say that I don’t love you. I’m Doug. Let’s shake that booty and get busy. Let’s roll.

WWE Network shutting down on January 1st, 2025. Thoughts?

It’s all part of the deal with Netflix and from what I understand, all the Network programming will be moving to Netflix, along with WWE RAW in January. It’s a tough break for some WWE fans, but it’s just business.

Should Hercules be in the WWE Hall of Fame?

While I can’t see it as a huge priority, Hercules Hernandez had a good run in the WWE and other promotions as well. He was a solid worker. I don’t think he’s high on the list of potential inductees, but if a safe, mid-card choice was needed, he’d be a possibility.

How do you feel about WWE’s move to Netflix? Do you think this change will enhance the viewing experience for fans?

I’m taking a wait-and-see approach as to whether this will be better for fans or not. But I think it should work well and be a good deal.

What do you think about Shawn Stasiak’s recording of WWE Legends’ private conversations?

This is old news. Stasiak recorded some wrestlers in the car while traveling. He claimed it was accidental and he had been playing with the tape recorder to work on his promos. Was he telling the truth and was it accidental? I don’t know, but he was punished for it by the other wrestlers and his contract was terminated not long afterward. So whatever the reason was, Stasiak paid for it. And life goes on.

Do you want to see Gene Snitsky do some work for AEW?

Snitsky is 54 years old so I’m not sure how valuable he could be for AEW right now. But if he’s in decent shape, given his reputation and what he’s most famous for, punting the baby, I could see him coming in as a bodyguard for Father Figure Christian Cage, filling in while Luchasaurus is out of action. I know that Christian has Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne, and Kip Sabian as his “family”, but a crazy Uncle Snitsky could make a fun addition to the group. And never forget, It was not his fault!

Do you think AEW is a good place for MVP to end his career?

Sure. Why not? It’s as good a place as anywhere else.

Do you think AEW should create a WWE ID-style program?

I’m not sure how this would work, but if it gives young Independent wrestlers a chance to improve their status in life and get noticed, then the answer is yes. Anything that helps pro wrestling and wrestlers in general gets a nod of approval from me.

How do you feel about Renee Paquette’s decision to stay out of Jon Moxley’s storyline?

She’s probably just as confused as the rest of us by all of that mess and just doesn’t want to have to try and figure it out by being involved. Given that Moxley and Renee’s marriage is common knowledge, I don’t see how long she’ll be able to stay out of it and be neutral, but I don’t blame her and I’d try to keep it that way for as long as possible.

What do you think about Matt Riddle potentially returning to MMA? Should he step back into the octagon, or stick to professional wrestling?

Matt should do whatever he wants to do to be happy and further his professional career. Be it MMA, pro wrestling, or anything else, if that’s what you want to do and it’s legal, do it!

How do you feel about AEW and ROH taking over the Hammerstein Ballroom?

It’s a prominent location with a strong history in professional wrestling, plus there is a unique atmosphere that makes for some great shows. AEW and ROH see this and are taking advantage. Good for them.
