I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s get busy and rock this joint. Let’s do this.
Do you think Netflix will make all the content from the WWE Network available?
No, not all. I think we’ll still be able to see the PPV events and some select specials, but stuff from the territories and the older TV shows will probably be lost. I’m just speculating, and we’ll have to see how it goes.
Mount Rushmore of Big Meaty Men that Slap Man Meat?
Off the top of my head, I’d say, Brock Lesnar, Yokozuna, One Man Gang, and Crusher Blackwell.
Jon Moxley & LA Knight versus Brock Lesnar & Shelton Benjamin. Who wins?
One set of former roommates against another. Pretty cool idea for a match. As for who wins, can anyone compete against Brock and Shelton as a team? Brock and Shelton would win. Yeah!
Why do you think Jake The Snake was never pushed after the Warrior debacle? And do you think that contributed to his personal demons?
I think those personal demons were the reason he was never seriously pushed again. Maybe dealing with the Warrior didn’t help things, but Jake was firmly embraced by his demons long before he fought the Warrior. He can blame no one but himself for his problems and lack of push.
If you had no consequences, how would you respond to someone who says “Wrestling is fake”?
I’d hit them in the head with a steel chair and then jab them with foreign objects before finally slamming them through a table. Or I’d just feed them to Jacob Fatu. Fake my ass!
Do you like CM Punk being the 5th member of the OG Bloodline?
Punk isn’t a member. He’s just helping them out for one match. But yes, I do like it. I like it very much.
DOOM (Ron Simmons & Butch Reed) w/ Woman versus The Usos. Who wins?
As great as the Usos are, we’re talking about Ron Simmons and Butch Reed. Plus, they have Woman by their side. DOOM would win after a great and competitive match.
Does Disco Inferno belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?
I wouldn’t say that Disco belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame. He had a great career and did well in WCW and TNA, but he never worked a match for WWE which I’m aware of. While I wouldn’t object to seeing him up on stage at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremonies, dancing his little heart out, I think most fans and wrestlers would probably disagree. So no Hall of Fame for Disco Inferno, damn it.
Why is Punk teaming up with Roman Reigns? The storyline doesn’t make sense.
It makes perfect sense. Punk is teaming up with Roman Reigns because Paul Heyman asked him to. What can make more sense than that?
Once War Games and Survivor Series is over, do you think Paul Heyman will stay with Roman Reigns, become the advocate for CM Punk, or move on to someone else?
The wardrobe that Heyman was wearing on Smackdown Friday night might be a sign as to what’s next for the Wise Man. Or it might just be a coincidence. That’s the good thing about Paul Heyman and this entire Bloodline story. We don’t know what can or will happen. There are so many directions it can go and they all make sense in a way. I don’t know what Paul will do. Or Roman. Or Solo. Or anyone else from the two Bloodline teams. That’s the excitement of it. We’ll just have to wait and see. I’d like to see Heyman go with Punk for a while, but again, who knows?
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
