Yes, it’s another edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Never say that I don’t love you. I’m Doug. Let’s shake that booty and get busy. Let’s roll.

The least likely opponent for John Cena’s final match?

Least likely? Kurt Angle. Kurt would be very fitting as he was Cena’s first main roster opponent and having him as the last opponent would be coming full circle for Cena. But Kurt’s already spoken on this and isn’t physically able to do a match or wrestle anymore. So it can’t happen.

Do you think TNA can overtake AEW as number 2 in 2025? If so, what do you think it would take?

TNA has already taken over as Number 2 in terms of good matches, good stories, and live attendance. What they need is a home on cable that is not AXS. It’s not their fault that no one watches that cable network. Give TNA a spot on a network that people actually can find and watch, like maybe Bravo, SyFy, or something of that nature, and it would make all the difference.

What would be your ideal ‘Ultimate Forbidden Door’ PPV card? 7 matches, talent from any current company, any title up for grabs, any stipulations?

Off the top of my head, let’s go with this. Main event: WWE Championship: Gunther versus Will Ospreay. Hell in a Cell: CM Punk versus Jack Perry. Tag Team Turmoil Match: FTR versus The Young Bucks versus Waller & Theory versus Street Profits. Mercedes Mone versus Rhea Ripley. Joe Hendry & Ethan Page versus Bryan Meyers & Matt Cardona. WWE Tag Team Championship: Motor City Machine Guns versus TNA Tag Team Champions Matt & Jeff Hardy in a Ladder Match. And a Twenty-One Man Casino Battle Royal with Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso, The Miz, Bronson Reed, Sheamus, LA Knight, Trick Williams, Swerve Strickland, Dom Mysterio, MJF, Kenny Omega, Ricochet, Sammy Guevera, Wardlow, Daniel Garcia, Ricky Starks, Roderick Strong, Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Danhausen, and Rush.

Should the WWE Women’s US title Final be a “Cyber Sunday” type gimmick match? Since the USA just did the presidential election, it’d be fitting for the Women’s US title to compete in a fan voting on what kind of a match the two finalists will be competing in. Agree?

It would be an interesting stipulation to add to the match with the fans deciding the type of match. I’d like to see it.

Who’s your Mt. Rushmore of bald wrestlers?

I would say Baron Von Raschke, Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, and Goldberg.

If you ran WWE ID, who are three Indy wrestlers you’d ID?

It’d be all local talent from here in North Carolina that I’m very familiar with. Sammy Love, Nathan Cross, and Tripp Cautious. I think WWE could find a lot of good potential with these three men.

Five best tag Wrestlers of all time?

Right off the top of my head, I’d say Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton, Ole Anderson, Ricky Morton, and Paul Roma.

If you could create a 6 women’s faction made up of athletes from various promotions, what would you call it and who would you pick?

Can six women exist together in one group? My women would be Asuka, Thunder Rosa, Awesome Kong, Sarah Logan, Zoey Stark, and Raquel Rodriguez. And we’d call them “Empowered!”.

Favorite female wrestler ever?

I think everyone already knows my answer to this. WWE Hall of Famer Lisa “Ivory” Moretti.

What are your top 10 stables/groups of all time?

In no particular order, I’d say The Four Horsemen, The nWo Black & White, Degeneration X, Evolution, The nWo Wolfpac, 3MB, Paul Jones’ Army, The House of Humperdink, The Dangerous Alliance, and Judgment Day.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. Tell all your friends about the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. And with that, I’m out of here. Take care and I’ll see you at the matches.
