Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving. I’m Doug and this is my taking a break from cooking special edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready to rock? Let’s do this.

Wardlow versus JBL. Who wins?

The clothesline from hell versus the powerbomb symphony. This would be an interesting match. Wardlow matches up well in size against the Wrestling god, but JBL has the experience advantage. I’d go with John Bradshaw Layfield for the win.

Do you want to see Drew McIntyre win World Title gold again?

Drew will wear the big belt again at some point. He’s established as a top star for WWE and too damn good not to. It’s just a matter of when more than anything else. And yes, I’d like to see it.

1987 Survivor Series team Honky Tonk Man, Harley Race, Hercules, Danny Davis, and Ron Bass w/ Jimmy Hart and Bobby Heenan versus The Natural Born Thrillers, aka Chuck Palumbo, Sean O’Haire, Shawn Stasiak, Mark Jindrak and Johnny the Bull w/ Mike Sanders. Who wins?

While I was a big fan of the Natural Born Thrillers, this one is in little doubt as to who would win. Look at that team. Ron Bass. Hercules. The Honky Tonk Man. Harley Race. And then two of the greatest managers in wrestling history outside the ring as well. The Thrillers would put up a good fight and be thrilling if you will, but the winners are Honky, Harley, and friends.

How would you rate Bobby Eaton as a singles wrestler?

Bobby Eaton was an excellent wrestler regardless of what kind of match he was part of, be it singles, tag team, or anything else. His run as the WCW Television Champion, plus that great match against Flair at Clash of the Champions XV proved that. Bobby’s only flaw was that he couldn’t talk, but aside from that, he was easily one of the best in-ring performers of his time.

Trish Stratus says that Lilian Garcia belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame. Is Trish right?

Trish is 100% right. I’ve said it before myself as well. For so long, Lilian was the voice and face of WWE as the resident announcer. And they keep bringing her back so that has to count for something as well. Lilian belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame. No doubts or questions in my mind about that.

X-Pac announced on X that he’ll be on NXT next week. Thoughts?

Eric Bischoff and X-Pac on the same show? I hope Pac doesn’t get fired. But seriously, it should make for some interesting moments, plus help spike up the ratings a point or two. I’m looking forward to seeing what Mr. Waltman has to say.

Will Finn Balor ever reach the top again?

I think he will. Balor is too good to be held back as a mid-card performer. The only problem that I can see is that there is so much talent in WWE right now, that Balor might have to fight for that top spot. But until then, he’s a multiple-time tag team champion and the leader of Judgment Day, so he’s still in a great position. I think he’ll be challenging Gunther before too long though.

Describe Darby Allin in three words or less.

Reckless, immature, and careless.

Where would you rank Brock Lesnar in being the greatest wrestler of all time?

I’m not sure where the actual ranking would fall, but Brock has proven himself time and time again that he’s a main-event star and one of the absolute best of his era. I wouldn’t say he’s the greatest of all time, but he’s certainly in the running and has a place in my Top Ten.

Tony Khan is the New Vince McMahon. Yes or no?

No. Vince was a boss. Tony is a friend. That’s a major difference. While Tony is starting to wise up to the business side of things and has made some unpopular decisions in regards to people like CM Punk, Penta, and Ricky Starks, that is more the exception than the rule. Vince was business first and feelings were secondary, and Vince ruled with an iron hand, something I don’t think Tony is capable of. Also, Vince likes beautiful women and is never lacking in confidence in terms of women and getting what he wants, be it good or bad. I’ve never seen a picture of Tony with a woman in any manner that could be considered romantic or lustful. Does he even have a girlfriend? No, Tony isn’t Vince. It’s not even close.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And as the legendary Baron Von Raschke would say, that is all the people need to know. I’ll see you at the matches.
