It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s rock.

The Beast Mortos versus The Beast Brock Lesnar. Who wins?

This one wouldn’t even be a match. Paul Heyman’s favorite Beast would quickly pick up the win. Brock Lesnar!

Paul Heyman owes CM Punk a favor. What favor do you think Punk will ask of the Wise Man?

My thoughts are that if Roman gets the WWE Championship back, CM Punk will immediately get the first shot at the Championship against Roman. Either that or Punk will have Heyman use his influence and do whatever it takes to assure Punk of the main event match of Night 2 of Wrestlemania.

LA KNight has dropped the United States Championship to Shinsuke Nakamura. What’s next for LA Knight?

Some rematches against Shinsuke and then maybe a feud against one of the top heels on Smackdown, Grayson Waller perhaps?

Eric Bischoff recently stated that if he had the power to remove Tony Khan as the booker of AEW, he’d replace him with Bully Ray. Thoughts?

It would definitely be a step up from what AEW currently has going on. Bully Ray would be an interesting choice, but I think he’d do a good job. Bully has worked under Paul Heyman, Vince McMahon, Triple H, and TNA and knows what it takes to put together a good story and matches that mean something. He has a good mind for the business and would probably excel in a creative leadership role.

Eric Bischoff also recently said: “Randy Orton could accomplish more with a glance than The Young Bucks can in a main event match on a pay-per-view.” Do you agree with Bischoff?

Eric isn’t lying. This statement is 100% true.

Thoughts on Matt Riddle debuting with TNA wrestling?

I haven’t given this much thought as of yet, but Riddie is a good wrestler and with the loss of Speedball Mike Bailey, there is a spot there waiting to be filled. Riddle tends to be a bit on the unpredictable side, but the man can go in that ring and is popular with the fans so the best option is to take a wait-and-see approach and see how well Riddle fits in with the rest of TNA. I think he’ll be fine.

Are you excited for the return of Saturday Night’s Main Event?

Jesse Ventura on the commentary, plus WWE on NBC Primetime? What is there to not be excited about? This is a nice piece of nostalgia that should draw some strong numbers for WWE. Yes, I’m looking forward to it,

Rick Steamboat & Jay Youngblood versus Dusty Rhodes & Terry Funk. Who wins?

Funk would turn on Dusty and get himself DQed before getting run off by Steamboat and Youngblood. This match would have Steamboat & Youngblood winning by DQ or be declared a no-contest.

What is up with wrestlers using each other’s moves? In the WWE, Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Bron Breakker all use The Spear as a finisher. Whatever happened to wrestlers not using each other’s finishing moves?

I can understand Jey using the same move as Roman because it’s a Bloodline thing and they’re all family. Bron using it makes sense, but he shouldn’t do it regularly when Roman is on the same card. It used to be customary for wrestlers to not use the finishers of other, more established wrestlers, especially on the same event or in the same territory. I guess the old ways don’t matter anymore. But they do go a bit crazy with it sometimes. I don’t get it at all.

Gunther versus Harley Race. Who wins?

Gunther is an amazing wrestler and a throwback in many ways to the 70s and 80s in his in-ring style and the way he carries himself. Gunther truly deserves the title of Ring General. But Harley was not only an 8-time NWA World Champion, but also the first official WWE version of a wrestling King. A King > a General. And Harley would trump Gunther.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up for now. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
