Should WWE do a brand split again with the PLE events?

The roster at WWE is so stacked right now that they could easily do a brand split with the PLE events. I know that they tried this before, and it didn’t go quite so well, but the roster wasn’t nearly as strong then, plus they depended on traditional PPV to sell the events. Now that all of the PLE shows are streaming on Peacock, I could see it working far better. Keep the traditional Big 4 events (Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and WrestleMania) with bost rosters, as well as shows like the Saturday Night’s Main Event, plus the B-level PLEs could be brand specific. It would work well.

The Rock is the current favorite to win the 2025 WWE Men’s Royal Rumble according to some online gambling sites. Becky Lynch is the favorite to win the Women’s Rumble. Thoughts?

I think No to The Rock, and as for Becky? I can see that, but I don’t think so. I think the Rumble is how Rhea will get her title shot and final revenge against Liv.

What are your thoughts on Gunther’s potential babyface turn and his reported contract renewal?

Gunther is a tweener already. The fans respect him as an honorable heel, so a full-face turn isn’t unexpected. I can’t see Gunther as a total babyface, but I think his Tweener role fits him well. Gunther has renewed his contract and is locked in with WWE for several more years. Good for him.

Umaga belongs in the Hall of Fame, right?

Umaga belongs in the Hall of Fame. It’s a big yes for me.

Blue Meanie versus Maven. Who wins?

Maven had a great dropkick but wasn’t all that. Blue Meanie was a great character but was a comedy act and little more than that. What a match this would be. Maven would most likely win.

Do you want to see Ethan Page get called up to the main roster next year?

Page is wasted in NXT and is main roster ready. He has been making comments about CM Punk and owes Punk a receipt. I think we’ll see All Ego on the main roster sooner rather than later, probably right after WrestleMania.

What do you think about Jeff Jarrett’s commentary potential? Would you like to hear him behind the mic full-time?

Jeff is an excellent talker and given his history and past as a wrestler, promoter, and podcaster, would be excellent in a commentary role. He’d be far better than anyone currently commentating in AEW right now.

Triple Threat Match: Ox Baker versus Jos LeDuc versus Ernie Ladd. Who wins?

Ox had a great look but wasn’t great in the ring. LeDuc had a great look and was also excellent in the ring. And Ernie Ladd. He’s the big cat and an original wrestling King. It’d be, as Gordon Solie would say, a total Pier Six Brawl. Bowling shoes ugly for sure. And the winner? Ernie Ladd.

Do you hope to see Samantha Irvin back in the wrestling world, perhaps in a whole new role?

Whatever she wants to do, more power to her. I don’t care either way.

Sable versus Mercedes Mone’. Who wins?

I never thought I would be saying this, but Mercedes has fallen so much since going to AEW, I think Sable would take her to the limit. Sable wins.
