Tomorrow night, live on Peacock and the WWE Network, is WWE NXT Deadl1ne. It’s coming live from Minneapolis, Minnesota. And you know what that means, right? It’s prediction time. I’m Doug. Let’s roll.

Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge to determine the #1 contender for the NXT Championship at NXT: New Year’s Evil.
Wes Lee vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Nathan Frazer vs. Ethan Page vs. Eddy Thorpe.

This should be one hell of a banger of a match. Five very talented wrestlers looking for that shot to become the NXT Champion at New Year’s Evil. I just don’t see Evans or Frazer at the point yet ready to headline a PLE so let’s take them out. Eddy Thorpe seems to be moving in a different direction with the accidental injury to General Manager Ava which I think will be coming back to bite him in the ass shortly. So Wes Lee or Ethan Page? I want to see All Ego win and get the shot, but my gut says Wes Lee. The gut is never wrong.

Winner and NEW #1 Contender: Wes Lee.

Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge to determine the #1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT: New Year’s Evil.
Sol Ruca vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Zaria vs. Giulia vs. Wren Sinclair.

I think this one will obviously come down to either Stephanie Vaquer or Giulia. The other three ladies are essentially just filling in some spots. They’re not going to win. Giulia has scored some victories over NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, but my gut says Stephanie Vaquer. And remember what I said about the gut.

Winner and NEW #1 Contender: Stephanie Vaquer.

NXT Championship Match.
Trick Williams (c) vs. Ridge Holland.

I want to see Ridge Holland win and that title to switch hands. But I also want to see Holland go back to the main roster, have a banger of a match with Bron Breakker, and maybe make an appearance as The New Day (Kofi & Woods) use him to screw with Big E. For that to happen, he can’t be champion. I guess Trick will find a way to retain the title.

Winner and STILL NXT Champion: Trick Williams.

NXT Tag Team Championship Match.
Nathan Frazer and Axiom (c) vs. No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Borne and Tavion Heights).

Frazer is not only defending the tag team titles here with partner Axiom but is also a part of the Iron Survivor Challenge Match. Can he handle both matches in one night? And if he loses one match, how will he react in the other one? He’ll need to be at the top of his game against Borne & Heights and I don’t see how he can be. I think we’ll be seeing some new champions.

Winners and NEW NXT Tag Team Champions: No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Borne and Tavion Heights).

NXT Underground Match.
Lola Vice vs. Jaida Parker.

Parker is a tough lady, but Vice is on fire right now and the cock of the walk, if you will. This will be good and I expect these two awesome ladies to put on a brawling clinic of a match. I think Vice should win.

Winner: Lola Vice.
