Do you think anyone else could have brought The Undertaker to life, or was it destined for Mark Callaway alone?

Another person may have played the role, but it wouldn’t have been the same. It seems as if Mark Callaway was destined to play that role. He did and made it his own.

Is the Kyle Fletcher push working? Are you buying him as a star?

It may be working to a point for now, but it won’t last long before Tony Khan’s attention moves on to something else. Fletcher is only getting the push in anticipation of the Australia show, but once that’s passed, he’ll be just another guy sitting at home or in catering.

I know he’s accomplished a lot, but he’s never been the top guy in WWE. So where does The Miz rank all-time? Top 50?

The Miz is the ultimate Go-To guy who can work in any role the company needs, be it heel, face, commentator, public relations, or anything else. And he’s also a damn good wrestler who was the top guy twice and has held every other title in WWE at least once. Winning or losing every match, it doesn’t matter. He’s still over. A rating for all-time greatness? He might not be in my personal Top Ten, but he’s definitely in the Top 25.

So, is Chris Jericho top 10 all-time?

In terms of reinventing himself and staying relevant, Jericho would have to be in anyone’s Top 10. So far as my personal tastes, he’s not in my Top 10, but like the Miz, he would be in my Top 25.

Was Vince Russo good or bad for wrestling?

Russo is a mixed bag. He did a lot of good for pro wrestling with the Attitude Era and helped to coax Vince McMahon out of his comfort zone. His run as the head of WCW Creative? That was some rough stuff for the company and wrestling in general. His time at TNA was a little of both good and bad. I think with Russo, the good outweighed the bad, but he has plenty of both to account for.

Honestly, are you a fan of Disco Inferno?

I am a fan. Disco took an admittingly lame character and made it entertaining. The ratings for his matches were always among the highest and that crowd reaction was incredible. Plus, Disco was actually a good worker. Go back and watch the matches. He blended the entertainment with the moves and the fans loved it. So yes, I am a fan of the Disco Inferno.

Is AJ Lee’s WWE career overrated, properly rated, or underrated?

It’s actually a bit overrated in my opinion. AJ was good in the ring, a good talker, and had an interesting character, but she wasn’t the second coming of Sherri Martel by any means. She was good in her role, but for the most part, she was just another woman on the WWE roster. Her time away from wrestling, plus her marriage to CM Punk, has enhanced the legend that was AJ Lee. She was good. Hell, she is good and would be welcomed back to WWE in an instant. But she’s not a legend or myth or super special. She’s just another good woman wrestler who’s popular with the fans.

So, is Charlotte Flair the greatest women’s wrestler of all time?

In terms of being the total package so far as promos, in-ring ability, and aura, an argument can be made for that. If anyone is better than Charlotte in terms of putting it all together in Women’s wrestling, I’d like to know who. In my opinion, she’s the GOAT of Women’s wrestling.

If Billy Corgan came to you and asked your advice to improve the NWA, what would you tell him?

I’d drop the studio wrestling and move into the 21st century with the production and presentation. Plus, a home on a television network, cable network, or streaming service is a must. I’d suggest finding a competent booker, as well as a creative team, and essentially rebooting everything that the NWA currently has going on. I know that Corbin loves the old-school feel of the NWA and that’s great, but they need to update to compete.
