Here is a very shortened edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m actually out of questions. Send me more. I’m Doug and this is how we do it. Let’s go.
Using 1 word, Describe Gunther’s reign so far as World Heavyweight Champion.
Uninspiring.
Do you think WWE’s boom period will continue for several years, or is there still a risk of this being a temporary phase?
If you have a good product, the fans will come and watch. So long as WWE keeps up the good stories, and the good matches, the so-called boom period will continue. There is always a risk of the audience finding other interests and going away, but I feel confident that WWE can keep the momentum up.
Do you want to see Kairi Sane bring back her Pirate Princess gimmick in WWE one day?
Kairi looked great in the Pirate costume. It made her stand out from the crowd and the rest of the WWE Women’s roster. I think she should keep the gimmick.
What are your thoughts on Sting’s prediction and Darby Allin’s potential as AEW World Champion? Do you feel it will come true?
I think Sting is right only because Tony Khan will make Darby the champion regardless of whether he deserves it or not. Darby is one of Tony’s favorites and will be rewarded for it.
What do you think of Booker T’s claim that WWE NXT’s women’s division is the best in the business? Do you agree?
I don’t often agree with Booker, but he’s right about the women of NXT. They’re even better than the main roster right now.
Do you enjoy AEW’s packed cards, or do you think there should be fewer matches to keep the focus on quality over quantity?
Fewer matches and compelling stories are always better than a bunch of matches thrown together just for the sake of having a match and filling up the card. Less is more, especially when it’s good. Most of the AEW’s events and matches are not good.
And there you go. Yes, it’s short, but as soon as I check my e-mail, I’m sure that I’ll have more coming very soon. Thank you for reading. Questions, comments, and thoughts can be sent to Doug28352@yahoo.com. I’m on X at @Doug28352. And with that, I’m out of here. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
