What do you think about Shelley Martinez potentially playing Sister Abigail?

From what I remember of Martinez, she would have been excellent in the role of The Wyatt Family’s resident spooky witch. I can definitely understand why Bray would have wanted her for the role.

Would you like to see Red Velvet face Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship?

Personally, I wouldn’t have any desire to see this match happen, but I’m sure most AEW fans would like it. It could be an interesting and good match.

Are you excited about WWE on Netflix?

I truly am. Being able to watch RAW on Demand as part of Netflix instead of having to adjust my schedule every Monday will make things so much easier.

Jay Lethal brought back Black Machismo for his match at ROH Final Battle. Would you like to see him use this character full-time in AEW/ROH?

I like the Black Machismo character and it was fun to see a return of Lethal’s classic homage to Randy Savage. That being said, Lethal should save the characters for special occasions. He should mainly just stick to being Jay Lethal. He doesn’t need the extra tricks to succeed.

What are your thoughts on Naomi replacing Jade Caegill and being one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions?

I guess WWE had to give her some credit and a place on TV somehow. I’m not a big Naomi fan and in my opinion, her in-ring skills have gotten worse since her return from TNA a year ago. She’s likable and probably a very nice person, but she doesn’t need to be holding any championship right now, especially not one that was handed to her.

What wrestler had the best Hollywood run and who had the worst?
Why?

For the best run, it’s the Rock and the reasons are obvious. For the worst, I saw John Morrison in a straight-to-video Hercules movie. I can’t remember the name, but it’s on Tubi. And it was exactly what you were thinking. Yeah, it was that bad.

Mortis versus La Parka in a Chair Match. Who wins?

Mortis, better known as Chris Kanyon, was an incredible wrestler and normally, I’d be saying, “Who betta?”. But this is a chair match and La Parka was known as the Chairman for a reason. La Parka wins.

The Iron Sheik versus Mil Mascaras. Who wins?

Mil’s ego would never let him lose, so Sheiky-Baby would have to stretch him a bit and then take a DQ finish for Mil can have the W. Mil Mascaras wins.

WWE has canceled the NXT Level Up show. Thoughts?

It was essentially WWE’s version of AEW on YouTube. No one watched and it was there mainly to be there and give the NXT trainees some TV time. With all that WWE and NXT have going on now, I’m sure the rookies and trainees will be okay and find plenty of stuff to keep them busy. It’s not a big deal in my opinion.

Gorilla Monsoon versus Tyrus. Who wins?

Tyrus is a great talking head for Fox News and is a cool-ass dude, but Gorilla, back in his day, was a legit monster of a man and badass. Monsoon would win.
