I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Merry Christmas Eve. Let’s jingle bell rock!
Describe Chris Jericho in 3 words or less.
Master of reinvention.
Officially announced by WWE. SmackDown will be a 3-hour show beginning on 1/3. Thoughts?
This isn’t a surprise at all. Being back on USA Network, WWE has more flexibility than they had on Fox and wants to make sure they have as much TV as available, especially with RAW moving to Netflix. It’s a good move in my opinion and will give WWE more time and ability to showcase their product. It works for me.
What’s on your Christmas wrestling wish list?
A return to WWE for Heath Slater, continuous good booking and storytelling, the return of Asuka, good health for her, and a reuniting of Dom & Rhea.
How about Logan Paul versus John Cena at WrestleMania? Yes or no?
It would be a good match. Sure, why not?
Dominik Mysterio considers himself a 20-year veteran in the wrestling industry. Thoughts?
Well, he’s been involved in the business since 2005 and the match between Rey and Eddie Guerrero so he’s not wrong.
Tiffany Stratton versus Carmella. Who wins?
Tiffany might be Miss Money In The Bank and it might be Tiffy Time quite frequently these days, but Carmella means Mella is Money and she is WWE’s resident Long Island Princess. Carmella wins.
Do you want to see WWE hold a PLE in Mexico City?
Mexico City would have a wild crowd and it would make for a great event. I’d love to see it.
Who has been the 2024 MVP of the WWE men’s roster?
This one is tough, but I’ll go with the WWE World Champion, the Ring General, Gunther.
Who has been the 2024 MVP of the WWE women’s roster?
This one is easy. Since winning the WWE Women’s World Championship and hooking up with Dominik McMahon, Liv Morgan has been amazing. No one else is even close.
Dominik Mysterio claims he was a bigger star than Cody Rhodes in 2023, stating that he had far more TV time than the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Thoughts?
In 2023, Dom was working RAW, Smackdown, NXT, and the house shows. I think, in terms of TV time, he had the entire WWE roster beat. 2023 was the year of Dom Mysterio.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. Merry Christmas Eve, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
