It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. I survived Christmas, and now, I’m here to answer all of your wrestling questions. Let’s rock.

How would you rate Drew McIntyre on a scale of 1-10?

Drew has stepped up his game over the past couple of years and has turned into almost the perfect heel for WWE. I’d give him a solid 8.

Roddy Piper versus Dick Slater versus Jon Moxley. Who wins?

Three of the rowdiest and crazy wrestlers/brawlers in the history of the business. The blood would flow freely for this one. I think Piper would end up with the win.

If you could form your dream tag team and be their manager, who would it include?

This one is easy for me. Two men who I know very well and have watched wrestling for many years, one half of the Atlantic Coast Destruction Crew, Ethan Storm, and Thunder Horse Michael Youngblood. These two men might not be in WWE, but they’re just as good as, and better than many, of the talents on WWE and NXT television. While I’d probably spend as much time breaking these two men apart as being their manager, they have great chemistry and would make an excellent tag team. The three of us as a cohesive unit would be unstoppable.

Who would be on your Mt. Rushmore of wrestling referees?

I’d go with Tommy Young, Charles Robinson, Pee Wee Anderson, and Mark Curtis.

What are your thoughts on Candice Michelle?

The original Go Daddy girl, Candice was from the WWE Diva search and was a model turned wrestler, as was the big thing back then. She grew on me during her time in WWE and was a competent wrestler by the time she was released in 2009. She was the first Diva Search contestant to win a championship in WWE. She’ll never be a Charlotte Flair in the ring, but she worked hard and could hold her own.

You’re told to create a faction to face Moxley and his Death Riders in a 5-on-5 AEW Blood & Guts match. What five wrestlers are you choosing?

I’m assuming I should only use AEW wrestlers, right? I’d have Jericho stand up for AEW and recruit Sammy Guevera, Dustin Rhodes, and FTR as his partners.

Who would be on your Mt. Rushmore of G.L.O.W.?

Tina Ferrari, aka WWE Hall of Famer Lisa Moretti, aka Ivory, would be first. Emily Dole, aka Mount Fiji, would be next. Jeanne Basone, aka Hollywood, would be third. And finally, Deanna Booher, aka Queen Kong/Matilda the Hun, would round things out with the final spot.

What are your thoughts on Bulldog Brower?

Bulldog Brower was the bug-eyed crazy man who had a lengthy feud with Bruno Sammartino in the late sixties and then was brought back under the management of Captain Lou Albano to feud with Bob Backlund. Brower was the brawler who always had a foreign object in hand and could be counted on for chaos and a good brawl. On a personal note, I had the misfortune of dealing with Brower’s son, Richard Gland Jr. He’s a total piece of shit human being. But Daddy? He was fun to read about in the Apter Mags and the few matches I’ve seen, fun to watch go crazy in the ring.

If you could book Super Huuman & Hannibal in a tag team match against any team for a No DQ match, who would their opponents be?

Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen. And I’d make sure that Stan and Brody watched every video either of these men have made before the match, just to rile them up a bit. This would be for the Juggalos. Fuck this… Oh shit! It would be awesome.

Do you think Christian Cage will be the AEW World Champion in 2025?

If I was a betting man, I would say that the odds of this happening are quite good. He won’t hold the title for long, but I do think he will win it at some point in 2025.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Questions, comments, and thoughts are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And I guess that’s all for now. Take care, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
