AJ Francis posted this on X on Saturday afternoon. “AEW & WWE are both running in Orlando tonight… Got friends on both cards… I’m a Free Agent in 4 Days… Which show should I go to?” Should Francis go to WWE, AEW, or stay in TNA?

If Francis is smart, he’ll stay in TNA. Going to AEW might mean more money, but it also means a strong push for two months and then wrestling limbo and being largely forgotten. In TNA, he’s getting plenty of TV and rebuilding his character. I honestly doubt WWE is an option right now since they’ve got a stacked roster and released him only a year or so ago.

Do you think Nigel McGuinness return to the ring for AEW and ROH again in the future?

I think Nigel wants to be in the ring, but realizes that the TV commentator deal is too good to give up, so he’s picking his spots and making the most of each moment. He’ll be wrestling more dates as time progresses.

Former 2-time NWA Champion Jax Dane recently passed away. What are your thoughts and memories of Dane?

Apart from seeing his name mentioned a few times, I was not familiar with Dane. However, based on all we’ve seen and heard since his passing, I think it’s safe to say he was a talented wrestler, a good champion, and a good man. My condolences to Mr. Dane’s family and friends.

Would you like to see Bayley face off against Michael Cole somewhere down the line?

No, I never want to see Michael Cole in that wrestling singlet again. The two can talk trash back and forth all that they want, but Cole should not be wrestling anyone, especially not Bayley.

Do you agree with Tony Khan’s decision to air the CM Punk-Jack Perry altercation?

It was a bad move that made Tony Khan and AEW look ridiculous and petty. All it proved was that CM Punk spoke the truth about the incident. However, there was another backstage incident involving CM Punk and a few EVPs. I’d love to see that footage.

Does Slick belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

While Slick only had a short run in the WWE compared to many others, he still made an impact and is a memorable character. He wouldn’t be my first choice, but he is deserving of the honor of the WWE Hall of Fame.

Tyler Breeze and Baron Corbin were also spotted backstage at AEW Worlds End. Do you think either of them will become All-Elite?

Tyler Breeze won’t since he’s under contract with WWE for the gaming program he does with Xavier Woods. But Baron Corbin is a free agent and is not under contract with anyone at the moment. I can easily see him joining the AEW brand.

Do you think Mike Santana will find success if he decides to join WWE one day?

Santana is a good wrestler and a good talker. If he and WWE were to come to an agreement, I think Santana could do well under the WWE umbrella. He has the skills but only needs some good booking and opponents, which WWE could most certainly supply. He would be successful.

Adam Copeland is back in AEW. Thoughts?

It’s good to see Edge back in AEW. Let’s hope this run goes better than the last one. It looks as if he’ll be going after Moxley. That should be a decent rivalry.

What are your thoughts on Jazz?

A tough and talented woman who never seemed to get the recognition that she was due. A multiple-time champion, Jazz is strong in the ring, good on the mic, and can have a good, competitive match with almost anyone. She’s definitely one of the best and belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame.
