Anything goes and no question is off limits. I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s boogie.

So, are The Usos the greatest tag team of all time?

The greatest? I wouldn’t go that far. After all, they’re not the Midnight Express or The Anderson Brothers. But Jimmy & Jey are damn good and should be in anyone’s Top 20 for tag team wrestling.

What is Hulk Hogan’s funniest lie?

There are so many options here, that there is no definitive answer. Hogan was supposed to be the face of the George Foreman grill. Mike Tyson was scared to fight Hogan in a boxing match. Hulk Hogan was almost in Metallica. Hogan was scouted by the New York Yankees and the Cincinnati Reds, but couldn’t play baseball because of an arm injury. But my favorite? Hogan claimed to wrestle 400 days in a single year. Yeah, and he kept a straight face while saying that. Something about crossing timelines. Yeah, The Hulkster likes to tell whoppers. And whatcha gonna do, brutha, when Hulk Hogan lies on you?

Sweet Daddy Siki passed away earlier today. What are your thoughts and memories of this wrestling legend?

A top wrestling star from the ’60s and ’70s, I never had the chance to see Sweet Daddy Siki wrestle. He was based in Canada and was a huge star for Stampede Wrestling, but also worked in Memphis, Detroit, and California. Siki was also a singer and DJ and often hosted karaoke parties. I remember seeing his name a few times in the old Apter Mags. He seemed like quite the character. Condolences to friends, fans, and family of this iconic wrestling legend.

Who’s your dream Jacob Fatu opponent at WM this year?

Bronson Reed versus Fatu would be great to see, but since Bronson is injured that can wait until WrestleMania 42. So how about Jacob Fatu versus Gunther? Or Brock Lesnar. Either would be awesome to see and would be a WrestleMania-level quality match.

Who do you think will be Drew McIntyre’s WrestleMania opponent?

There are so many good options with the way WWE has been booking Drew this past year, it’s hard to figure this out. Maybe Jacob Fatu? That would be a great match. Yeah, let’s go with that.

Where do you think Baron Corbin should take his talents next?

The main two options are AEW and TNA. He won’t make as much money in TNA, but he’d have strong, consistent booking, and a steady role as one of the top guys in the company. In AEW, as we’ve seen so many times, it’d be a short push and then sitting at home waiting for a plane ticket. My suggestion would be TNA.

CM Punk recently stated that one of his main goals for 2025 is to shave off Dominik Mysterio’s “stupid mustache”. Should WWE make this into a storyline and possible feud?

Dom has so much heat, that a feud with CM Punk would get over very well. It’s a money feud for sure. And yeah, that mustache is annoying. Maybe he should try for a beard too and he can curl it up like Dirty Dutch Mantell. Book it, WWE.

Describe FTR in three words or less.

Excellent Tag Team.

The Casino Gauntlet is back in AEW next week on Dynamite. The winner gets a title shot at Jon Moxley. Who do you think will win? Who do you WANT to win?

AEW loves to have tournaments, gauntlet matches, and Battle Royales, don’t they? Not knowing who the participants are, it’s hard to pick a winner. I’ll just make a guess and go with Adam Copeland, aka Cope. And who do I want to see win? Ricky Starks. A return to AEW television and a match against Moxley would mend a lot of fences, elevate Starks to the top of the AEW roster, and would just be cool. Too bad it will never happen.

Stevie Richards has spoken of how he wanted Ivory to be the leader of Right to Censor, thinking it would have elevated the group even more. Is Stevie right? Yes or no?

Ivory as the leader of RTC would have been revolutionary. A woman leading a faction of top men in that era? It was unheard of. Ivory was a great talker, a very respected and talented wrestler, and as Stevie says, naturally bossy. The heat they could have generated at the time would have been phenomenal. Think of how the crowd reacted to RTC with Stevie as the boss. Now multiply that by ten and you’d have the crowd reactions with Ivory as the leader. WWE dropped the ball on that one.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up for now. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
