Twitter, aka X, can be a total cesspool at times. But they are good for questions. I went on my X timeline, and the first ten questions I came across that didn’t suck, I’ve got them here. And to pass the time and keep my loyal readers, all ten of you, entertained, I’m providing a few answers. The things I do for you. Don’t think I don’t love you. This is the Ultimate X Q&A. I’m Doug, and you’re not. Let’s rock!

Would you rather control fire or control ice?

I regularly read comic books, so I know what the benefits and consequences of each power would be. Do I want to be Bobby Drake, aks The Iceman, of the X-Men? Or do I want to be Johnny Storm, aka The Human Torch, of the Fantastic Four? I think I’ll go with ice powers. They just seem much cooler.

Do you trust the media?

I trust no one and especially not the media. If the media reports something, it needs to be at least triple-verified, run through a Magic 8 Ball, authenticated by Pythia, the Priestess of Apollo at Delphi, have at least six eyewitnesses, and have video and audio evidence. And then, I’d still have my doubts.

Name a breakfast better than pancakes.

Very few breakfast meals are better than pancakes, sausage, and orange juice. But there are a few that are better. And my favorite? The day after Thanksgiving, with leftovers piled on a plate. Turkey, stuffing, baked beans, corn, green bean casserole, and a Deviled Egg. It was Thanksgiving Dinner all over again, but it was technically breakfast. And it was damn good!

Do you agree that all of the J6 political prisoners should be released by President Trump?

They should be released, issued a full pardon, and have their record expunged of any crimes related to January 6. I hope that President Trump does exactly that.

Do you fall in love easily?

No, I do not. I fall in lust very easily and I’m always up for a good time, especially if he’s cute. Or funny. Or has pretty eyes. Or a nice butt. Or if I’m just bored. But actual love, where I want to spend my life with them, care more about them than myself, and can’t stand being apart from them because of the personality, character, and brightness of their soul, has only happened three times that I’ll admit to. And those names? Chad, Chris, and Eric.

Do you think the US needs more foreign workers? Yes or no?

More legal foreigners to work in the United States? We don’t need more, but the ones who are here legally should have the same opportunities for jobs as everyone else. Illegal aliens should be deported. They’re criminals. However foreign workers are a strong part of the U.S. job market and contribute a lot. Those that contribute and make things better, legally, are always welcome.

Would you support President Trump completely replacing Pride Month with Veterans Month?

I’m torn on this one because Pride Month was once something that was about pride, self-respect, and being treated as equals, celebrating how far gays have come in the past forty-fifty years. That’s what it was. What it is now is a movement that has been hijacked by the radical crazies demanding special rights and screaming look at me. What Pride Month is now is just an embarrassment. And this is a gay man saying that. Why is there even a month to celebrate pride anymore anyhow? We got what we wanted and now it’s just the crazies doing their stupid shit. Screw it. Change it to a day for the normal gays and as for the crazies, two words for them. Suck it! A Veteran’s Month? I like that idea.

What food do you swear tastes better as leftovers?

Three foods immediately come to mind. Spaghetti, homemade Veggie soup, and chili. All of these are better the next day after they’ve had a chance to set.

Do you think that Green Energy is a scam?

Global Warming is a lie. The whole Green energy story is a lie. It’s all a money scam. Nothing more.

Retired people should be completely tax-exempt. They’ve already paid their dues. Yes or no?

That’s a good idea but not exempt from all taxes. Retirees should pay sales tax on items they purchase, but that should apply to everyone equally. But in terms of property taxes or income tax, once a person reaches a certain age and retires, those should not apply.
