I’m Doug and this is the only wrestling Q&A that matters, the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s get ready to rumble.

What are three wrestling podcasts that everyone should listen to?

I’d say Dutch Mantell’s Storytime with Dutch, The Drive Thru & The Experience with Jim Cornette, and Insight with Chris Van Vliet.

Do you think WWE NXT would even benefit from bringing Vince Russo on if he was open to it?

At this point in his life, Russo has been out of the business from a creative standpoint for far too long, and I doubt he’d have anything positive to offer at NXT. Even if Russo was up for it, it wouldn’t be worth the trouble for WWE.

AGREE OR DISAGREE: Wrestlemania 41 is the LAST CHANCE for The Rock vs Roman Reigns.

Disagree. There are at least twelve PLEs a year, plus four Saturday Night’s Main Events plus 52 episodes of both RAW and Smackdown. If it doesn’t happen at Mania, any of these other events would work just as well.

Has the Wyatt Sicks angle failed? Should WWE drop the gimmick and group?

I wouldn’t go so far as yet to say failed, but the momentum has been lost, and thus far, the Wyatt Sicks has been less than impressive. Maybe with some rebooting, they can be saved and become major players in the WWE, but changes do need to be made.

What are your thoughts on Tiffany Stratton becoming Women’s Champion?

We knew it was coming and I’m glad to see WWE finally pull the trigger. Tiffany Stratton has so much character and is a great character. It’s nice to see her finally wearing gold.

What do you think of the AEW Tag Team Championship run of Private Party?

So far, it’s been less than impressive. Private Party may be the tag team champions, but it seems that the tag team division is focused on everyone but them. They’ve had how many defenses so far of the titles? Maybe three? And it just feels as if they’re just lucky to be there. There is nothing to make them stand out anymore, and even the titles aren’t helping. Either Private Party needs some major retweaking of their characters or they need a strong feud against top opponents. Something needs to be done.

Greg Valentine & Terry Taylor versus Money Inc., Ted DiBiase & IRS. Who wins?

Greg Valentine and Terry Taylor were the WCW United States Tag Team Champions and were an effective team. DiBiase and IRS were WWE Tag Team Champions and also a very good team. This match would be by-the-numbers, but still fun to watch. I think DiBiase and Schyster would get the win.

Kairi Sane versus Bull Nakano. Who wins?

Nakano was one of the toughest women in Japan during her prime. Sane is more of a high-flying wrestler, but she also never fails to impress. It’s a tough call here, but I think Bull Nakano would get the victory.

If you could co-host a podcast, but you had to be with either Jamie Dundee, Alberto Del Rio, Tammy Sytch, or Ric Flair, who would you choose?

Tammy would be impossible because she’s in prison, where she belongs, for at least 15 more years. Del Rio belongs in prison and gives me the creeps, so he’s out as well. Flair has failed at every attempt at a podcast regardless of who his partner is, be it Mark Madden or even his son-in-law. So Jamie Dundee it would be. And I’ve had plenty of friends in the past who remind me of Dundee, so I have experience and could handle him better than most.

Who is Cody Rhodes’s greatest rival?

The image and character of Stardust, Vince McMahon’s greatest creation. Cody will never live that time as the Cosmic One down. And if you’re asking for a person, let’s go with Randy Orton. As both partners and foes, Randy has always been a strong part of Cody’s life and always will be. Seth Rollins too, but I’d give Randy the slight edge.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for THE CLAW, and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
