It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug. Let’s rock!
Who do you want to see The Rock interact with during his return?
I’d like to see The Rock and CM Punk interact, as well as The Rock & Triple H. I expect though, that Roman and Solo will be the main figures of his attention on RAW tonight.
What do you think about Hulk Hogan returning to WWE RAW? Are you excited to see him and The Rock share the stage again?
Both Hogan and The Rock will be at RAW tonight, but I doubt they’ll share the stage at any given point. Hogan is there to promote his beer, while The Rock has family business to address.
Do you think Giovanni Vinci needs a character change?
He needs something. I had totally forgotten about Vinci. He’s a talented dude but as a singles wrestler, apart from Imperium, he has yet to click and connect with the fans.
Do you think WWE should keep the door open for everyone? Are there certain stars you’d like to see return? Perhaps Ryback?
I would never want to see Ryback return. I prefer wrestlers who have talent and are not insufferable dicks. But each talent should be an option on a case-by-case basis. If there is a role for them in WWE that could be beneficial to both parties, have a conversation. It’s good business. As for who I’d like to see return, Matt Cardona, Heath Slater, Curtis Axel, and Lisa Moretti, aka Ivory, all make a return in some capacity.
Do you want to see Samantha Irvin become a manager?
I look at Samantha and all I see is another Brandi Rhodes. She was a good ring announcer and should be content in that role. A manager? I just don’t see it.
Now that Kenny Omega is back, who do you want to see him feud with in AEW?
Omega versus Will Ospreay would be good. Maybe Omega and Christian going at it again. And how about Omega versus Adam Page? All could be good matches.
Will Jeff Jarrett become the AEW World champ?
Jeff can talk about it, but I don’t think it will happen. It isn’t 1999 anymore.
What if Raven never left WCW and stayed there until the company closed down? How do you think he would’ve been used?
I think Raven would have been a mid-card player, often ignored or thrown into meaningless matches and feuds more often than not. WCW’s booking at the end was a total mess and I can’t see Raven being given much of a chance to do more than he already had.
Rick Harris, aka Black Bart, has been moved to Hospice Care. What are your thoughts and memories of Black Bart?
I remember Black Bart before he was Bolack Bart when he was just a jobber named Ricky Harris. He was a big guy who stood out and turned into a memorable character. The team with Ron Bass was impressive and Bart went on to have a good career. Bart was always entertaining and though he was never a top guy, he always left a strong impression and sent the fans home happy. Thoughts and prayers to this wrestling legend.
The Dudley Boys versus The Road Warriors. Who wins?
They snack on danger and they dine on death. That beats, “Get the tables” every time. The Road Warriors wins.
And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated, and can be sent to Doug28352@yahoo.com. Take care, my friends and I’ll see you at the matches.
