I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

Describe Powerhouse Hobbs in three words or less.

Future big star.

Hulk Hogan has nuclear heat from the WWE audience, but he is still a draw. What if WWE takes advantage of the heat and turns him into a heel as Hollywood Hulk Hogan again?

In today’s world, it wouldn’t work. Hogan is a retired wrestler who only shows up once or twice a year to make a cameo. Unless it’s to become a regular, recurring character with a story, what would be the point in trying to reboot Hogan? The fans have made their decision. WWE needs to accept it, cut its losses, and move on.

How and when would you book the end of the Death Riders storyline?

Just like everything else in AEW, have Moxley lose the AEW Championship, vanish for a few months, and never mention this storyline or The Death Riders again. Out of sight, out of mind, and the company can move on.

Would you like to see the Bella Twins return to WWE?

As a regular team to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championships, I wouldn’t object to it. I don’t want to see Nikki Bella challenging Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania, but as special attractions, with the occasional match or story, I wouldn’t object.

What are your thoughts on the term “WWE Universe”?

At first, I thought it was stupid, but it’s grown on me and I’ve gotten used to it. And, given the reach of WWE via social media, television, and streaming exposure, it kind of fits.

Will Trick Williams bounce back from this loss and reclaim his title or do you think he’s headed to the main WWE roster?

In my opinion, Trick isn’t ready for the main roster yet and would end up being lost in the shuffle. I think we’ll see Williams bounce back and attempt to reclaim that NXT Championship once again.

The Undertaker & Rhea Ripley versus Brock Lesnar & Sable. Who wins?

The weak link here is Sable. Brock is great, but he can’t fight two people. The Dead Man and Mami would take the victory.

After saying that he had one more match left in him, Ric Flair has backtracked and declared that there will be no more matches. Thoughts?

Maybe Flair had a brief moment of sobriety or maybe someone spoke to him and he’s listening for once, but that’s good to hear. The last “last match” Flair had nearly killed him. We don’t need to see a repeat of that disaster again.

Would you like to see The Masterpiece, Chris Masters, return to WWE?

Masters is currently working in the NWA, but yes, I’d love to see Masters return to the WWE and have one more run. He’s come a long way since those early days but is still a young man. It could be another Drew McIntyre or Cody Rhodes story of a talent leaving, and then coming back better than ever. All he needs is the opportunity, and I’d love to see it.

The ultimate way to distance themselves from Vince McMahon would be for WWE to induct Ted Turner into their Hall of Fame! Yes or no?

It would be a huge statement to be sure. And Turner does deserve it. He’s been a huge supporter of pro wrestling for well over fifty years and credits wrestling for making TBS a success. It’ll never happen, but it would be nice to see.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up for tonight. Watch out for flying snowballs and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
