Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s Ultimate X Q&A. Let’s do this.
Name something that was better in the past than it is now.
Television. The shows used to be original, groundbreaking, and entertaining. And now, it’s all boring and generic. There is nothing controversial, special, or even worth watching about television today. Except for the occasional news and pro wrestling, I’ve pretty much given it up entirely. And I don’t miss it either.
Name one thing better than sex.
A good, bone-crushing Uber Hug from a certain guy who lives out in the country. And to be honest, at this point, a good nap, crap, or home-cooked meal is pretty good too. Sex is overrated. It’s a nice way to kill some time, especially if he’s cute, but it’s not really a big deal these days.
Where was your favorite place you’ve ever worked?
This one is hard because I’ve worked with some great people and in some very interesting places over the years. And favorite? Two places. The first would be Dairy Mart. That was a great job, but more importantly, a great family that I love and hold dear to this day. We were a collective unit of friends who just happened to work at the same place. Great times. And at the ABC store. Again, it was more like a family than a job, plus we had an amazing manager who kept us straight and on track to be a well-oiled machine. We worked hard but had fun and it was a ten-year experience that I will always cherish. With most jobs, I made friends. With those two jobs, I made a family.
How do you usually celebrate your birthday?
Unless it’s a year ending in zero, I’ll normally just try to ignore the day and proceed with life as usual. It’s not a big deal and unless forced by others to celebrate or do something different, I don’t consider it a big deal.
What’s your favorite music to listen to while you work?
It depends on where I’m at and what kind of work I’m doing. If I’m working with customers and doing the retail/customer service thing, a mix of music from the ’70s and ’80s will soothe my soul and work the best. If I’m working on the computer, trying to write, or being semi-creative, I prefer classical music or maybe the sounds of a piano, violin, or cello. Luckily, there are so many music-only mixes on YouTube and Spotify, that I can just hit the play button and go into the zone quickly.
Would YOU rather have a perfect body or a super-intelligent brain?
I’m already a sexy beast, even with a belly and one leg. I’ll take the brain, thank you.
Should you be allowed to shoot a criminal that has broken into your house?
What is this “allowed” you speak of? If someone has broken into my house and is threatening me or my family, I’m shooting their ass and going for the kill, no matter if it’s allowed or not. The safety of those I love is far more important than worrying about getting permission first. Action has consequences and if someone is dumb enough to threaten my family in any manner, or intrude into our home, they deserve whatever they get. It is just that simple. And note, by family, I mean both by blood and by fate/choice/life, etc., as well.
If you could swap noses with any animal, which would you pick for the ultimate fashion statement?
I like my nose the way it is and wouldn’t want to swap with any animal that I can think of. But if I didn’t have a choice, maybe a bunny rabbit? Yeah, I could rock a bunny rabbit nose. Let’s go with that.
Beauty, money, or power?
The easy answer here. Money. If you have money, you have power. And if you’re rich enough, the only beauty that people see is the beauty of your wallet. Sad, but true. As for me personally, I don’t want power. I’m already a sexy beast. So give me the green. I’ll take small bills, tens and twenties, please.
What is the most beautiful place you’ve ever visited?
Two places come to mind. Daytona Beach, Florida. Looking out over the ocean from the motel room balcony was an amazing sight, especially at 3:00 in the morning. So relaxing and peaceful. And secondly, there is a place next to a creek not far from here, It’s just a calm, peaceful setting and nothing fancy, but a dear friend and I used to go there regularly to talk and just be together and it was always perfect. He is so beautiful. I mean, the spot was so beautiful. We called it, “The Spot” and made many good memories there.
