I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready to rumble? Let’s do this.

You’re banned from watching wrestling EXCEPT for the match catalogs of three wrestlers. Who are the three wrestlers you pick?

Only three? Arn Anderson would be one for sure. With him, you’d get basically the entire history of the Horsemen as part of the deal. Bobby Heenan. He was a manager, but also wrestled and took bumps, so that would allow me to watch anything involving the Heenan Family. And Bobby Eaton, just because he was an amazing talent.

Name a wrestler that you will never turn your back on.

Heath Slater. The 3MB lives forever and the dude was extremely underrated. And besides, he’s got kids.

Who do you think will take the U.S. title from Chelsea Green?

This won’t happen for a long time to come, but when it does, I think either Bianca Belair or the returning Alexis Bliss are the ones to keep an eye on.

Darby Allin versus Cactus Jack. Who wins?

The ambulance service because they’d make a killing hauling these two reckless knuckleheads to the hospital. Cactus rarely won most matches. Darby wins but just looks like the loser afterward. I think Darby would probably get the win in this one.

Roman Reigns will be part of the 2025 Royal Rumble match. Thoughts?

Roman will come in, put on a show, and then be eliminated by whoever the person is that he will fight with at WrestleMania. Win or lose, he will be acknowledged.

Who would be on your Mt. Rushmore of wrestling factions?

This one is pretty simple. The Four Horsemen, DX, The nWo, and The Bloodline.

Who wins in a real fight in their prime? Batista or Brock Lesnar?

A true slobber knocker for sure. Batista is a tough hombre, but Brock is a machine who has been trained in MMA, amateur wrestling, pro wrestling, and UFC fights, plus he’s a monster of a man. The instincts would take over and while Batista might get a lick or two in, Brock would take a bloody victory.

The Big Bossman versus Sid Vicious. Who wins?

Did these two ever actually wrestle? I did a Google search and it says no. Size-wise, these two would match up quite well. Sid was in better shape, but Bossman moved faster. Sid was more methodical, but Bossman was more high-impact with the moves. It would be a good fight. Based on their usual status on the roster, I think Sid would get the win. But he would have known he’d been in a hard match and fight.

What are your thoughts & memories of Mike George?

He had two first names. But seriously, I barely remember this guy. A big dude, he worked for Crockett for a few matches but was primarily based out in Kansas and the Central States region. A good technical wrestler, but from what I can remember, no real charisma or energy. The aura matched the name. Solid worker, but no real personality or character to speak of.

Who is the greatest WWE Royal Rumble winner in history?

This one is easy. Despite what he acts like now, Ric Flair’s win in the 1992 Royal Rumble match, when he won the WWF Championship, was near perfection. The Rumble was loaded with talent, Bobby Heenan was incredible on commentary, and the right person won. On that night, history was truly made and his name was Ric Flair.
