I have just enough time for an edition of the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A before I watch RAW on Netflix. I’m Doug. How you doing? Let’s rock!

Music star Bad Bunny, in a recent interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, says he wants to return to WWE and noted that WWE will be in Mexico for the Backlash PLE. Would you like to see Bad Bunny back in WWE?

Bad Bunny was actually impressive in his previous WWE outings and even though I don’t listen to his music, I know he’s a huge name in music and would bring new eyes to the product. Bring him back and yes, I think WWE in Mexico for Backlash would be the perfect place for Bunny to return.

Do you want to see Buff Bagwell in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Would I like to see it? Yes, I would. Buff was a big part of the NWA and WCW back in the day, and although he was never a big star, he’s one of the most memorable characters of that era. Will it ever happen? No, it won’t. I’d still like to see it though.

Why do you think AEW is declining, especially with TV attendance?

I’ve answered this one a million times already. Poor booking, plus matches without reason that can’t connect to the audience. Very few fans want to see a match without knowing why the guys are wrestling. It needs a reason for being, a backstory. AEW rarely delivers on that part.

Should WWE bring back The Iiconics and pair them with Chelsea Green? What would you call this faction?

Simon Miller made this suggestion. It would be funny and entertaining television. Hell, add Jilian Hall to the mix for good measure. I’d watch it. As for a name, Simply Fabulous works for me, because they would be.

Where is Samoa Joe? How would you book his return when he’s ready to come back to AEW?

Samoa Joe is currently off filming the TV series, Twisted Metal. As for his return, with Joe, simple works best. Moxley is in the ring, talking shit as always about how he’s beaten everyone, and Joe walks out from the back and makes a challenge, saying Moxley’s never beaten him. And there you go.

Mark Jindrak says he’s interested in coming back and wrestling in the U.S. again after nearly twenty years in Mexico and Japan. Would you like to see Jindrak return to American wrestling? If so, then where?

Jindrak was always a good wrestler and has had a great career in both Mexico and Japan under the name of Marco Corleone. He’s getting older now, age 47, but can still go with the best of them. Both AEW and WWE should give this guy a look. And if there’s a spot, make an offer. Given his history in WCW, plus the story that he was originally scheduled to be part of Evolution, but was replaced by Randy Orton, there’s an instant story to be told. I’d like to see Jindrak return.

Triple H asks you to come up with something special to promote the Royal Rumble match. What’s your idea?

How about a twelve-man Legends Rumble match on the RAW before the Rumble? A mini version of the Royal Rumble, but with folks either from the past or not regularly seen in WWE. And the winner gets to be in the Royal Rumble at the big show. Or hell, two of them. One for RAW and one for Smackdown, with one being for the men while the other is for the ladies.

What do you think is next for Tyler Bate in WWE? Will he reconnect with Pete Dunne, or is a solo run in the cards?

Once he’s cleared to return to the ring, a confrontation with Pete Dunne seems almost a necessity to clear the air and maybe have a short feud. After that, I’d like to see him go to NXT and have a good solo run. It’d be a nice way to reestablish himself in WWE. I think he and Ridge Holland would make for a good rivalry.

CJ Perry (Lana) versus Maria Kanellis. Who wins?

Unless this is a Bra & Panties match or Jello Wrestling, no one wants to see this match. sighs Maria would win.

WWE is running Saturday Night’s Main Event directly opposite AEW’s All In PPV from Texas. Thoughts?

It’s just a coincidence and nothing more. WWE would NEVER intentionally try to sabotage an AEW event. I know that Tony Khan will complain and claim otherwise, but would Triple H and WWE really be that petty? Okay, maybe just a little bit. $50 for an AEW PPV or a PLE-quality event on Peacock. I know which one I’ll be watching.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And I guess that’s all. Have a great night and I’ll see you at the matches.
