It’s 4:30 am and why am I up? I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I can’t sleep so I’m answering wrestling questions instead. Oy vey! Let’s rock!
On a scale of 1 to 10, how interested are you in seeing Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns III at WrestleMania 41 for the WWE Title?
Probably around a 5 or so. We know it’d be a good match, but we’ve been there and done that twice already. It’s time for someone else to get that main event spot at Mania.
Does anyone think WWE would have ever noticed Stephanie Vaquer if she hadn’t been booked for that match against Mercedes?
Vaquer is a talented performer with that “It” factor and was already on the rise as a star in professional wrestling. While the match with Mercedes Mone may have speeded up the process, it was just a matter of time before someone of importance in one of the major companies took note.
What if, instead of Hulk Hogan as the 3rd man for the nWo, it had been Mabel, from Men on a Mission, instead? Thoughts?
That’s an interesting thought and allegedly, his name was mentioned when the plans for the nWo began, but it never would have worked. Even Hall & Nash couldn’t have carried Mable enough to make it work. He just wasn’t at the level of star needed for the third man.
According to Mark Henry, he tried to convince AEW to sign Jacob Fatu before WWE eventually did. How do you think Fatu would have done in AEW?
Look at Wardlow. Look at Lance Archer. Now insert Jacob Fatu’s name into that list. His fate in AEW would have been roughly the same as these two men have endured. A short push as a monster and then lost in the shuffle. It’s the AEW way.
Buff Bagwell versus LA Knight. Who wins?
Buff has always been the stuff, but LA Knight would find a way and take the victory. Yeah!
Should Black Bart be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?
It’d be a nice gesture, but based strictly on his career, Bart would be a hard candidate to justify for a Hall of Fame induction. But then again, Kelly Kelly, The Bellas, James Dudley, and Koko B. Ware. What the hell? Induct him already.
Would you like to see Cowboy James Storm come back for one last run with either TNA or WWE?
From what I understand, Storm still wrestles occasionally, and he’s always been a good worker. Bring back the Cowboy for one last run? Sure! And for any who dare to oppose him, sorry about your damn luck!
Chelsea Green wants to host a “Divas Only” open challenge for the US title. Only WWE women from the Divas era would be able to accept. Thoughts?
This would be cool. And just think of the women that could come back for the event. Torrie Wilson, Kelly Kelly, Mickie James, Trish Stratus, Lita, Molly Holly, Candice Michelle, Melina, Layla, and I’m sure I’m missing quite a few. It’d make for a nice special attraction event, maybe as part of WrestleMania. And anything with Chelsea Green in it, you know it’s going to be entertaining and good.
What would be a good way to bring Vickie Guerrero back to WWE?
How about as a Cougar going after Dominik? Or would that be too weird? It’s WWE and pro wrestling. I’d watch and love to see these two characters interact.
The Boogie Woogie Man versus The Boogeyman versus The Booty Man versus Gillberg. Who wins?
One of these things is not like the others. Just hearing the ring announcements and watching the crowd’s reactions would be incredible. The match would be all comedy and probably suck pretty badly, but it’d be entertaining. As for who wins? The Boogie Woogie Man, the Boy from New York City, Handsome Jimmy Valiant, of course.
And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, I’m out of here. Take care and I’ll see you at the matches.
