I’m Doug and I can’t sleep. It’s time to answer a few of the hottest questions about the world’s hottest form of entertainment. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.

Considering Tony Khan and his dad are international businessmen, do you think AEW will ever try to get deals with Saudi Arabia the way WWE has?

If the current deals with WWE were to fall through, I can see the Saudi regime talking to AEW, but let’s be honest. So long as they have WWE, no one in the Kingdom cares about AEW. After all, why would you want a burger from McDonald’s when you’re eating steak every night? Tony and Shad Khan may approach the Saudis, but unless WWE backs out and goes away, it would be a lost cause.

Who is on your Mt. Rushmore of United States Champions, pre-WWE, and post-WWE?

For pre-WWE, when the United States Championship was NWA and then WCW, I’d go with Harley Race, the first U.S. Champion, Jimmy Snuka, Blackjack Mulligan, and Sgt. Slaughter. As for post-WWE, the current lineage, I’d go with John Cena, Booker T, Daniel Bryan, and Cesaro.

What are your thoughts on Thunder Rosa?

Very talented, and very underrated, and one of the better female talents in AEW. I like Rosa. She’s unique and has a personality that stands out from the rest of the crowd. She’s not the greatest promo, but compared to the rest of the roster, she can get her message across. I’d like to see her with a run as either the TBS or AEW Women’s Championship.

Which deceased wrestler would have their own podcast if they were still alive?

Eddie Guerrero, no doubt. He was the first name that immediately popped into my head with this question. Mean Gene Okerlund wasn’t a wrestler, but I can easily picture him and Conrad Thompson doing a podcast together as well.

What country or city NEEDS a WWE PPV in 2025?

For countries, I’d love to see some international action with Mexico and Japan hosting WWE events. As for a city, either Charlotte, NC, or Florence, SC, it’d be close enough to gather up the family and do a road trip.

Maryse versus Tiffany Stratton. Who wins?

Maryse is a very talented woman, and she keeps Miz in line, but I don’t think she’d be ready for Tiffy Time. Tiffany Stratton wins.

Ryback says that he will never join WWE again so long as Triple H is in charge. Thoughts?

I don’t think WWE or Hunter have made any offers for Ryback to return, nor do I think that they, or any other major wrestling promotion, want Ryback back. He’s just talking to be trying to get some attention, as always. I don’t think Ryback has to worry about WWE, or AEW, or TNA for that matter, calling his phone anytime soon.

Did Ricochet really come through the crowd and stab Swerve Strickland with a pair of scissors? And security didn’t even try and stop him? What the hell? Thoughts?

In AEW, we’re supposed to suspend disbelief that the glasses, Ricochet’s impression of Clark Kent, had the security fooled, and it wasn’t an assault or attack. It was just Ricochet and Swerve doing an homage to Arn Anderson and Sid Vicious. It was a tribute and nothing more. No reason for security to get involved. Just business as usual for a day at the AEW office.

Matt Riddle has won the MLW World Championship. Thoughts?

Riddle has ruffled a few feathers with New Japan and TNA but seems to be doing well in MLW. I like Riddle and he’s a very talented guy with a lot of energy and charisma, but the drama seems to follow him around. I’m glad to see him getting a break and doing well in MLW. Hopefully, this reign as the champ will allow him to smooth over a few rough areas to eventually end up in WWE again. We’ll just have to watch and see.

Will Vince McMahon ever be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?

While he’s alive, there’s no chance in hell of that happening. Vince is scorched earth and WWE/TKO are staying as far away from him as possible. After he passes away, they might do an induction posthumously. But he has too much baggage to acknowledge him now, deserving or not.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And I guess that’s all for now. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects and I’ll see you at the matches.
