I’ve wasted the entire day. It’s time to shrug off the blahs and get busy. I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s rock!

Allegedly, Tony Khan plans not to use Malakai Black, Miro, Ricky Starks, and Rey Fenix, having them sit at home until their contracts expire. Thoughts?

I guess Tony hopes that if the fans don’t see them, they’ll be forgotten and WWE will lose interest. He’d rather keep paying them to sit at home than come to work, do jobs to put over other talents, and make money. And he’s supposed to be a great businessman? It makes Tony seem petty to me.

Today is Negative One’s (Brodie Lee Jr.)birthday. Thoughts on the future wrestling superstar?

I wonder how happy AEW is with the son of Brodie Lee and his mother, Amanda Huber, considering how often they attend WWE events and are spotted with Cody Rhodes? It can’t be good, but then again. Brodie Jr. is only 13 years old and his AEW contract only becomes valid when Brodie becomes 18, and if he wants to be a professional wrestler. Brodie has been spotted training with several wrestlers, even at such a young age, and shows much promise. I’m sure he’d rather have his dad back, but Brodie is living every kid’s dream. I’m happy for the kid and future wrestling superstar.

Do you think Kenny Omega would be a bigger star in WWE rather than AEW?

In AEW, Kenny is a big fish in a polluted pond full of water lilies. In WWE, he would be just part of the crowd, another face, but with an excellent upside that receives much focus and attention. He wouldn’t be the big fish, but he’d be part of the school of fish near the top. Kenny would be better off, career-wise, in WWE. Yes.

There have been rumors WWE would downplay Hulk Hogan and use someone else for their Real American Beer after the Los Angeles incident. Who do you think it should be?

Who is a patriotic American and drinks beer? Hacksaw Jim Duggan or Sgt. Slaughter are the first two names that come to mind. Duggan was all about the USA, while Slaughter portrayed a U.S. Marine and even had a GI Joe figure made of him. Jack Swagger could work, but without Dutch Mantell by his side, I’m not sure if the Real American was over enough to be the spokesperson for a beer. Hell, bring back Lacey Evans and stick a bikini on her. She was a Marine, right?

Do you think we’ll see an Edge & Christian reunion in AEW?

Is water wet? Do dogs bark? Is Tony Schiavone a shadow of what he once was as an announcer? Is the Disco Inferno annoying? Christian and COPE are best friends in real life, plus have a tremendous history together as pro wrestlers. And they own a business together. So what if they had a few words and a minor feud that went nowhere? We’ll see Christian and Cope back together sooner rather than later.

Alright, what are your complaints about Triple H’s current booking?

Only five matches on the average PLE? Really? I’d like to see that expanded to at least seven matches per show. But other than that, I have no major complaints.

Do you think WWE will bring Ultimate X to WrestleMania? Who would you want to see compete?

The Ultimate X Match is a signature of TNA Wrestling where three or more wrestlers compete to get the prize hanging above the ring, similar to a ladder match. But instead of climbing the ladder, the wrestlers have to scale 15 feet of cable using their hands to reach the prize. The number of participants tends to vary from usually three to as many as ten. WWE probably could bring the match to WrestleMania, but I would hope not. Save it for a WWE/TNA Crossover event instead. As for who I’d like to see participate if this did happen in WWE, let’s go with four men. AJ Styles, Penta, Dominik Mysterio, and Austin Theory.

Stone Cold is in your top 10…right?

For being one of the biggest stars of the past twenty years and a great performer, hell yeah! Stone Cold Steve Austin would easily make the list.

Without mentioning The Stone Cold Stunner, what’s the best finisher ever?

It’s a tough call, but I’d go with a move made famous by The Masked Superstar, but later adapted and used by Sgt. Slaughter and Ted DiBiase as well, as the Cobra Clutch. I’ve used this before in fights. It works.

Do you like Dean Ambrose or Jon Moxley more?

Ambrose was annoying, but tolerable. Without the restraints on him that WWE imposed, Moxley is just an absolute pain and hard to watch. An instant change-the-channel wrestler. So I tolerated Ambrose more.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, I’m out of here. I need to go check the mail and take out the trash. I’ll see you again in a little bit. Be well, my friends, and I’ll see you at the matches.
