Should Tony Khan hire Bully Ray Dudley as part of AEW Creative?

Someone like Bully Ray, who’s been a part of ECW, WWE, and TNA, could be very helpful to a company like AEW in getting the creative back on track and more focused. But unless Tony Khan is willing to accept help and give up absolute control of the AEW Creative process, something that thus far, he won’t do, and admit that he needs help, it would be a wasted effort and cause. Bully could be a huge asset to any promotion, but if the promoter won’t use him, why bother?

Is MJF a “one-shot wonder” and a “falling star”?

There was a time when MJF was the hottest talent on the planet and a huge star who could do no wrong. And now, he’s just another face on the roster who can barely get a reaction. With the proper booking and opponent to force him to be creative and push himself, MJF still has the potential to be a major star and the face of the company. Right now, he doesn’t have that and just seems to be going through the motions. Can he one day return to his previous status and elevate his character to the top again? I think so. But right now, he’s fallen quite a ways from where he used to be.

Does Gail Kim belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Not so much for her WWE run, but for the work she’s done in TNA as a Knockout, plus pro wrestling in general as a pioneer of the Women’s division and making it more prominent, I would say yes, she does.

Do you think Corey Graves is trying to be fired by WWE?

I still think this is an angle and story being played out by Graves, working towards a match with Pat McAfee at WrestleMania. So no, I don’t think Graves is trying to get fired. He might have a few issues with the job assignments in WWE, but he’s been there long enough to know how things work in that company. Plus, Graves is too good and too essential to the WWE to be so casually cast to the side by the company. It’s a work. Watch and see.

What does TNA need to take their product to the next level?

They’re doing it. The PPV event in Texas, Genesis, is sold out. They’re working with the NXT brand and expanding their audience, plus doing some strong and consistent storylines. The only other thing they need is either a stronger home on cable with a different network or a streaming service and they’d be well on their way to becoming the #2 promotion in the United States.

Samoa Joe versus Wahoo McDaniel. Who wins?

These two legends would beat the crap out of each other and then laugh about it at the bar later. What a match this would be. Joe is tough, but Wahoo was in a league of his own back in the day. Wahoo would win.

Mr. Baseball Bob Euker passed away today at age 90. Thoughts?

I was never a fan of baseball, but I remember Bob Euker for several things. That famous clip of Andre the Giant putting his hands around Euker’s throat for WrestleMania III was an instant classic. I remember him from the movie, Major League. And the beer commercials. I think it was for Miller. A funny and creative guy who was only average as a baseball player, but still made it into the MLB Hall of Fame. An awesome character and stand-up dude. Condolences to the friends, fans, and family of Mr. Baseball.

JBL recently stated that he’d like “one more crack” at John Cena. Would you like to see Cena versus JBL one more time?

It could be an entertaining match that would draw a huge audience, plus be a great time for both men, as well as the fans. Yeah, I’d like to see it.

What are your early predictions for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025?

How about Batista, The Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette, Victoria, John Cena, Lex Luger, Ivan Koloff, and Slick? Works for me.

Kenny Omega versus Vampiro. Who wins?

Vampiro in his prime was an amazing worker and was essentially the Hulk Hogan of Mexico. And we’ve all seen what a healthy Kenny Omega can do. This would be a classic encounter. Tough call here, but I think Omega would get the win.
