Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s Ultimate X Q&A. Let’s do this.

Did you ride a bus to school or walk?

Up until 8th grade, I either walked to school or my parents gave me a ride. I never rode a bus until we moved to Maxton in 8th grade and then I alternated between the bus and my bike. It was only a four-mile ride to the school. And in high school, I rode the bus until I got my driver’s license. Once I was able to drive, I never rode that damn bus, #40, again.

What celebrity do you think is overrated?

Take your pick. Beyonce. Jay Z. Tim Allen. It doesn’t matter. Just because a person is a celebrity doesn’t make them special or a better person. I get it that these people have talents and skills and are considered among the best at their craft, but they’re just people, just like you and I. And they’re nothing special in my eyes, despite what they may think.

What is your dream job?

I’ve answered this one before. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a writer, a professional wrestler, or a television weatherman. And now, I write about wrestling. I’m still working on the weather thing, but two out of three ain’t bad!

You’re gifted a Tesla and you’re not allowed to sell it, what would you do?

It would probably sit in the driveway and collect rust and dust. Or if any of my friends needed a car, I’d loan it to them. Maybe I can’t sell it, but there are ways around that. And a Tesla? I’d prefer an old VW Bug or maybe an old GMC pickup anytime.

What did you do as a child that would be considered dangerous today?

Exploring the woods, walking around the neighborhood by myself, riding my bike and exploring, etc. Name it and I probably did it. And I was much better off as a kid than the kids of today as a result.

Do you drink water daily?

I usually tend to add a pack of flavoring to the water, usually grape, before I drink it, but yes, I do drink water, as well as Pepsi Zero and Mt. Dew Zero, regularly.

Who are your all-time favorite female recording artists?

My all-time favorites? Jessi Colter, Ann Wilson (Heart), Rickie Lee Jones, Tina Turner, Betty Wright, Dolly Parton, and Caitlynne Curtis are my current favorites.

Does listening to music make you smarter, or is the “Mozart effect” just a myth?

I listen to music constantly as I work, sleep, or chill. And I think I’m a pretty smart guy for the most part. Blame it on the music? That sounds fair to me.

If you could put wings on any animal, which animal would you choose?

We’ve all heard the saying, “When pigs fly!”. Well, if it was up to me, they would.

Somebody gives you billboard space for free. What do you put on it?

“For a good time, call…”.Nope, not that. That is reserved for the bathroom wall. A billboard? Probably an advertisement for the site. I’m averaging between 800 to 1000 views a day as it is. Can you imagine if I actually advertised, promoted, and took this shit seriously? I guess it would read, “Wrestling, Music, and Life… From a Dougie Point of View. DougMaynard.com”. Yeah, that would work.

If you could only eat one breakfast item forever, what’s the safest choice?

Is it eating only this one item all the time or this one item is all that I’m allowed for breakfast, but can eat other stuff for other meals? I guess I’d play it safe as the question says and go with eggs. They can be cooked in a variety of ways to keep from getting boring, plus they’re yummy. Too damn expensive, but still good to munch on.

What’s more satisfying than money?

Love and respect. Money is a necessary evil, but it’s not the most important thing. A reason for being, self-respect, and the ability to love and be loved are far more important in the big picture of things, as they should be.
