I’m Doug and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s get funky like a monkey and shake it to the bone. Let’s do this.

Hulk Hogan American Beer or Stone Cold Broken Skull Lager?

This probably isn’t the most popular choice, given the two spokesmen for the two beverages, but I’ve never been a fan of the Lagers. I prefer a good old-fashioned American Beer. Actually, I prefer Jack & Coke to either of them. But between the two options provided, I’ll go with the American Beer, brother!

Timeless Toni Storm is just a female Broken Matt Hardy from Temu. Agree or disagree?

The more I think about it, it’s an interesting comparison. I think I’d agree.

Marty Jannetty versus Ray “The Crippler” Stevens. Who wins?

I was fortunate enough to see Ray Stevens in his prime. I’ve also seen Jannetty wrestle many times. This one says Bombs Away as Stevens would get the win.

From what you have seen this year, what is your biggest concern for both WWE and AEW?

For WWE, my biggest concern is that the roster is too strong and too stacked, and a lot of talented people will be overlooked, lost in the shuffle, and end up unhappy as a result. My biggest concern for AEW is that someone is going to be killed or permanently injured pulling a stupid stunt that no one cares about or will remember five minutes later. Slow down. Less is more. ‘Nuff said!

Which heel/face turn would you want to see at this year’s Rumble? Austin Theory turning on Grayson Waller, Jacob Fatu turning on Solo Sikoa, or Paul Heyman turning on Roman Reigns?

Of the three options given, I think Theory eliminating Waller from the Rumble is the most likely. I haven’t heard anything about Solo even being at the Rumble yet, and as for Heyman and Roman, that sounds more like a Mania story than a Rumble thing.

Do you think Sasha Banks will return to WWE?

When the AEW deal is finished and Tony Khan has moved on to new toys, I think we will see Sasha crawling back to WWE, looking for work. The real question will be, will they even want her?

Who do you think should eventually be the one to dethrone Mercedes for the TBS title? I’m thinking of Harley Cameron.

Harley is an interesting choice, but I think the money feud and the best option would be Toni Storm. Timeless versus Mercedes? Hell, even I’d go to MAX and watch that.

If you had to build your current best commentary and interviewer line-up would be in it? This needs to include: a 3-person commentary team, 1 backstage interviewer, and 1 commentary team guest (e.g. MVP, Don Callis).

Current best would mean only commentators working today and not the legends of the past, right? Okay! A three-man team? Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Wade Barrett. A backstage interviewer? Renee Paquette. And a fourth person to add insight? Kevin Owens.

Do you think LA Knight is a victim of getting over when he wasn’t supposed to? He effectively turned himself babyface and got a reward for it but now feels completely like an afterthought.

He was pushed strongly and got over. And yes, for a while there, it did seem that WWE had forgotten about it. That’s where the loaded roster I mentioned earlier comes into play. But they seem to have remembered him now and he’s getting TV time again. I think WWE management likes LA Knight and is glad to support him, but there are so many others demanding their attention, he got lost in the shuffle for a bit.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
