Konnan allegedly tried to talk Hologram out of signing with AEW and failed. Thoughts?

Konnan is a smart man and knows the business better than most. He has his opinions and shares his opinions and advice with his friends. It’s not a big deal and makes sense. That’s what friends do.

Thoughts on Shayna Baszler. Is she charismatic enough to be a WWE superstar?

Personality-wise, I’ll be the first to admit that Baszler is not a ball of charisma or a great promo. Instead, she offers a legitimate fighting background and toughness that can’t be fabricated or faked. Baszler is the type of wrestler that works best with someone else as a manager or spokesperson, to allow her to do her talking in the ring instead of on the stick. She’s not awful, but she’s not great either. That’s why I loved the pairing of her and Sonya Deville. Does she have what it takes to be a WWE superstar? Absolutely. I’d stick her in a faction or use her as a bodyguard/enforcer though, rather than try to make her do it on her own.

Would you want to see The Hardys make one last WWE return and finally battle The Usos in a full-blown feud?

The Usos have essentially moved on to singles careers, but it would be a good match and for a one-off encounter, I’d like to see it. And if the Usos aren’t available, how about the Hardys versus Waller & Theory, American Made, or Judgment Day? There is no shortage of opponents in the WWE who could create in-ring magic with Matt & Jeff.

Could a ‘gimmick’ like Black Scorpion work now?

Give a guy a mask, not know who the actual person behind the mask is until the last minute, and have them challenging for the company’s top prize? Yeah, it could work… in AEW. For any other company, that idea would be DOA.

Malakai Black is now a free agent. Thoughts?

And in a few weeks, most likely the RAW after Mania, we’ll see him showing up in WWE. Welcome home, Malakai.

Dominik Mysterio has impressed interest about possibly going to TNA and ‘taking over’. Would you like to see Dominik and possibly Judgment Day make some TNA appearances? If so, against who?

That would make for some great moments and exciting television, to see Dom, Liv, Raquel, and Carlito show up at a TNA taping, making problems for Joe Hendry, Masha Slamovich, and others on the TNA roster. It’s a mini-feud that could go back and forth with WWE and TNA and make for some excellent stories and matches. I’d love to see Dirty Dom and Liv invade TNA. In the words of their associate, Carlito, that would be cool.

Who do you think would win in real arm wrestling, Prime Mark Henry or Prime Kane?

Kane is insanely strong, but arm wrestling? Mark Henry for sure.

Trish Stratus & Lita versus The Bella Twins. Who wins?

A match that was often spoken of but never happened. It’d be a fun encounter to see. Trish is great, but Lita, in her last few appearances, seemed a bit off. The Bellas are consistent if nothing else. The Bellas would win.

Can we admit that after a bumpy start in AEW, Ricochet has really hit his stride & doing GREAT work?

We can say that, but trying to murder people with scissors to the head? If that’s his stride, I hate to see what follows. He might be doing excellent work, but most of the AEW product is so hard to watch, that no one sees him doing it. People are still tuning out more and more each week and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Recast the movie Clerks, but with pro wrestlers in all the major roles of Dante, Randall, Jay & Silent Bob, Veronica, and Snowball. Who you got?

For Dante and Randall, let’s go with Heath Slater and The Miz. Lay & Silent Bob would be R-Truth and Matt Riddle. Veronica would be played by Bayley. And Snowball? Bring back Elias because he gives off the same weird vibes.
