I’m Doug, and I bring to thee the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready to rumble? Let’s do this.
Former WWE referee Rita Chatterton says she was under contract to AEW for a year and did “absolutely nothing”. Thoughts?
This makes absolutely no sense at all, but it’s Tony Khan and AEW so that should explain it all. At least Rita got a paycheck for a year. Must be nice.
Should The Undertaker distance himself from Vince McMahon, or is he right to support his longtime friend?
I actually applaud Undertaker for sticking by his friend. They’ve been associated for over thirty years, and despite his flaws, Vince has always done right by Taker. Taker is a stand-up guy and a true friend. We’d all be lucky to have a person like that in our lives. Good for Taker.
Who are your Top 5 favorite luchadores?
Based purely on personal enjoyment, I’d go with La Parka, Silver King, Juventud Guerrero, Vampiro, and Dominik Mysterio.
If you could interview anyone in pro wrestling, from any era, who would you want to sit down with?
The late, great Blackjack Mulligan is the first name that comes to mind. A legendary wrestler who could talk the talk, tell the stories, and had a life that was never boring. One of pro wrestling’s greatest characters, both in and out of the ring, of all time.
Based purely on in-ring, who are the top 5 wrestlers ever?
Again, off the top of my head, I’d go with Jack Brisco, Bob Backlund, Bobby Eaton, Ric Flair, and Bret Hart.
Should WWE let Ricky Starks keep his name, or do you think he’ll get rebranded?
I believe that Starks will keep his name. It’s his own legal name, and already established, so why bother changing it?
Will WWE Evolve help build future main eventers, or is this just another developmental project? Will you be watching?
I think it’s a combination of both things, a developmental project that will help build future stars. And yes, I will be watching it every Wednesday night on Tubi.
How would you rate the Death Rider’s AEW run thus far?
Well, I recognize all of the names, although the plot, the story, and their actions make little sense. I’ll give it a 5 out of 10.
Do you think The Young Bucks should return to AEW, or should they stay in NJPW a little longer?
They haven’t been missed and they need to try to get those IWGP Tag Team Titles back. Stay in Japan.
Bill Eadie & Barry Darsow, aka Demolition, have signed Legend’s Deals with WWE. Thoughts?
Time heals all wounds and this just brings Demolition one step closer to finally being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, possibly even this year. Good for all parties involved. Congrats to Bill Eadie and Barry Darsow. Welcome home.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s bring this to an end. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
