I’m Doug, your resident party host and Guiding Light. This is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s roll.
Do you want to see AJ Lee return to WWE?
As would most fans, I’d love to see AJ Lee back in WWE, either as a full-time wrestler or just for a cameo or two. She’s a talented wrestler and very popular with the fans.
If you had the pencil, what would you do with Jacob Fatu at Wrestlemania?
Based on the storylines right now, I’d probably have Fatu face Solo Sikoa. A match challenging Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship would be pretty cool too.
Do you want to see Eric Bischoff return to WWE?
For a full-time role, I would say no. Eric is best used in small doses these days. Having him come in to speak to the talents at the PC or on the LFG show would be great, but at this point, less is more.
What do you think should happen during Ricky Starks’ contract signing on WWE NXT this week?
What I’d like to see happen is to have Starks approached by Dominik Mysterio or Carlito and invited to RAW on Monday for possible inclusion as part of Judgment Day. What will most likely happen is that Starks will sign his contract, and then one of the regular NXT talents, Ethan Page maybe, will come out, start some trouble, and Ricky will have a match.
WWE Hall of Famer Jacqueline recently said she wants one more match and would like to face Charlotte Flair. Thoughts?
Jacqueline versus Charlotte Flair. That’d be a good match. Hopefully, WWE and Triple H can make it happen.
Describe Dominik Mysterio in three words or less.
Prodigy, future champion.
Would you like to see Jinder Mahal go to AEW, or should he stick to his current path?
Jinder’s current path, if I understand correctly, is working on Indy shows, doing signings, and working on movies. I’d rather see him show up in TNA or go back to WWE, but if it’s either continue as he’s doing or AEW, I’d suggest talking with AEW. Get the money while it’s there.
Do you think John Cena’s farewell tour will live up to the hype? Should his final match be in Boston or New York?
Based on what we saw at the Royal Rumble by Cena, I’m honestly not expecting much. I think the hype will far exceed the actual matches and what we end up getting. A final match? Cena is from Boston, so let’s go with the hometown.
Erase one forever: The Undertaker, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, or Randy Savage.
It’s a tough call, but if one had to go, say goodbye to the Macho Man, Randy Savage.
What are your thoughts on Don Callis?
Annoying, but effective. Callis is a good talker and plays the role of manager very well. He was a standout as the Jackyl so many years ago, and he’s still very good at what he does. He gets on my nerves, but that’s what he’s supposed to do so kudos for that.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
