I’m Doug, your resident party host and Guiding Light. This is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s roll.

Do you think The Undertaker in his prime could have handled Gunther? Would it have been a classic match or a straight-up fight?

The Undertaker himself said that a match with him and Gunther would be a straight-up brawl and fight. And I believe him. A fight.

Who is Seth Rollins’s greatest rival?

It could be Cody. It could be CM Punk. But I’ll go with his SHIELD brother, Roman Reigns.

WWE Hall Of Famer, ‘Road Dogg’ Brian James has been named the new co-Lead Writer for WWE Smackdown. Thoughts?

And that makes three members of DX running the WWE these days. I guess they need to bring Billy Gunn back and put him in charge of the PC to make a full sweep of things. But seriously, it’ll be good to see what Road Dogg can do without Vince McMahon’s interference. Congrats to Road Dogg.

What would be your ultimate 5-match Dream Card?

Let’s have a main event of the NWA World Champion Harley Race defending against Brock Lesnar. The Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette versus The Usos. John Cena versus Bob Backlund. Ivory versus Victoria versus Asuka versus Rhea Ripley in a Fatal 4-Way Match. And CM Punk versus Steve Austin.

One Man Gang versus The Great Muta. Who wins?

What a brawl this would be. A great match for sure. The Great Muta would win.

Greg Valentine is said to be working on a book about his career. Would you be interested in reading a book about The Hammer’s career?

Greg Valentine is a true legend of professional wrestling. I’ve had the opportunity to meet him on multiple occasions over the years and his career is second to none. I’m looking forward to seeing what The Hammer says about Wahoo, Flair, and Roddy Piper. This book sounds like it will be a must-read. I’m very much looking forward to reading it.

Allegedly, for the Grand Slam event in Australia, AEW didn’t properly consider the factors about shipping a ring and thus had to borrow a ring from some local Indy promotion for their event. Thoughts?

I’ve heard so much about this and how the costs of shipping a ring would be too much, it’s not a big deal, etc. I don’t know the logistics involved, but the ring AEW used was smaller than their standard ring and the apron didn’t fit properly. One of the ring posts was slightly bent. It’s all about perception and regardless of the reasons, using a cheap, smaller ring makes AEW look second-rate. It’s a small thing, but the small things add up and this whole discussion makes AEW look bad.

How are you feeling about AEW Grand Slam: Collision?

I haven’t watched it so I can’t really comment. I did read the reviews of the show and I plan to watch it later tonight after RAW. It sounds like a decent show.

Is Naomi really innocent, or is there more to the story? Who do you think is behind Jade Cargill’s attack?

There is more to the story than we’ve been told so far. As to who “attacked” Jade, I think Bianca is the guilty party.

Do you think WWE should be allowed to have non-compete clauses on their talent contracts?

So long as the talent is being paid for those ninety days, I see nothing wrong with having a non-compete clause at the end of their contract.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
