I’m Doug, and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready to rock & rumble? Let’s roll.

Do you want to see WWE bring Matt Riddle back?

Normally, I would say yes, but given Riddle’s recent comments about no-showing events and how it’s not a big deal, I truly could care less. Riddle is a good wrestler and entertaining, but he’s also revealed himself to be an unreliable dipshit. Bring him back or not? I don’t care.

The Rock wants Cody’s soul. Thoughts?

That’s an interesting twist on things. The Rock wants Cody as his corporate champion? If The Rock is as powerful as he claims and runs WWE, isn’t the WWE Champion already his? I’m taking a wait-and-see approach on this one. It looks as if The Rock is just grasping at straws, trying to stay relevant in WWE, but not able to wrestle due to movie obligations. As I said, this is just a wait-and-see deal for me.

Who’s going to end up selling their soul to The Rock?

If someone does end up as The Rock’s corporate stooge, I think Drew McIntyre would be great in that role. Maybe Jacob Fatu too. I could see a faction of heels being established with the Rock as their final boss, but someone else, maybe Tamina, being appointed to handle the day-to-day management. It should be interesting to see how this develops.

Allegedly, Tony Khan doesn’t have production meetings before shows in AEW, leading to frustration and confusion with the agents and talents. Thoughts?

I can’t believe this is true, but if it is, it would explain quite a bit. Tony is a poor booker and lousy business manager for AEW, but it’s impossible to have a live TV show each week, but not have production meetings to give a general idea of what’s going to happen. I don’t think this one is true.

Do you think we see Alexa Bliss align with the Wyatt Sicks eventually?

When the time is right, we’ll see Alexa back with the old gang. She is carrying Lily with her, and that has to be a sign of something.

When do YOU think Uncle Howdy & The Wyatt Sicks are RETURNING?

My gut feeling is that we’ll see something about the Wyatt faction at the Elimination Chamber PLE, possibly to support Ms. Bliss. I don’t think it will be much longer before Uncle Howdy and the gang return.

What do you think Eddie Gilbert would be doing if he was still alive?

If Eddie was still alive, he’d be 64 years old, so I expect he’d be retired, doing appearances and maybe signings, but not much more. Maybe a podcast too. I think this question refers to what Eddie would have been doing in the immediate future if he had not died in 1995. At that point, Eddie had burned bridges with nearly every major wrestling promotion in the United States, except the WWE. I guess he would have tried going to New York to work as a mid-card talent and have worked the Indy circuit. His options were limited due to his personal demons and reputation for leaving with little or no notice.

Do you think AEW is wasting an opportunity by keeping Kamille off TV, or is she better off looking elsewhere?

Kamille is a talented and entertaining wrestler who is currently under contract with AEW. But they are having her sit at home, not being used. Wasting an opportunity is one way to say it, but being stupid is another. Yeah, AEW is dropping the ball here.

Do you think Ricky Saints is better off in WWE?

Is the sky blue? Is Jim Cornette opinionated? Is Hornswoggle short? Yes, to all of these statements, and yes about Ricky Saints. He is a thousand times better off in WWE than he was in AEW.

Should TNA be dictating what media can and can’t ask about Tessa Blanchard, or should she finally address the allegations head-on?

It’s going to need to be addressed again at some point, but TNA is smart to control when and where it happens. Given how long ago these allegations took place, plus given that Tessa and her accuser, who she allegedly called the N-word, have patched up their differences, this whole situation is stupid and just cancel-culture gone wild. It will have to be addressed at some point, even though honestly, it’s not worth the time it takes to talk about.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
