Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s Ultimate X Q&A. Let’s do this.

If you were offered a million dollars to watch one movie for 24 hours straight, what movie would you choose?

Uugh! This question reminds me of the last few times I was in the hospital where, because of the limited channel selection, I was forced to watch entire days of nothing, but Harry Potter or Married With Children. What fun that was. One movie? Is it just one movie or one movie series? I think I’ll go with one of the best, Airplane.

Do you like Sourdough Bread?

Not really, no. I’ve used it before with spaghetti and it was okay to soak up the sauce, but aside from that, I’ve never been a fan.

If you could only cook with three ingredients for the rest of your life, what would they be?

This is tough. My guess, the first things that come to mind, are chicken, rice, and eggs. I think I could have a good variety of meals using these foods in different combinations.

What’s the most impactful book or movie you’ve ever experienced, and why?

The easy answer is the Bible. But another that comes to mind is Notes to Myself, by Hugh Prather. An incredible friend of mine introduced me to the writings of Mr. Prather so many years ago and it just clicked something inside. I felt inspired as if I found a person who could relate and understand, that I wasn’t alone or different after all. I’ve shared his works with many others over the years. Thank you, Theresa. This changed my life.

If you could plan the perfect family vacation, where would you all go?

Do I have to take my family with me? I love them, but any trip with my immediate family would not be relaxing or enjoyable. The perfect vacation? I send Mom to Ohio to see her sister. My sister, Terri, can go with her. And I’ll stay here at the house alone to look after the pets. That sounds perfect to me.

Who’s your favorite author?

A young man from my Wilmington days, now living in Connecticut, Mr. Brent Robinson. Brent’s book, The Leopard Who Found His Spot, is available on Amazon. Brent is one of the coolest, most incredible, and creative people I’ve ever met or known. Smart, inspiring, and a cutie too. Just an all-around awesome person. I’m proud to call him my brother and friend. And he’s a damn good writer too.

Is depression an issue for you?

Every single day of my life. Yes.

You’re the new Executive Producer for The View and can hire 5 new women for the show. Who are you hiring?

After clearing out all of the whack-job racist hypocrites currently on The View, I’d go first to former View panelist Elisabeth Hasselbeck. She would provide history and continuity to the show. Candace Owens would be my second pick, followed by former Fox News/MTV host Kennedy. And my final two? Former AEW wrestling personality and the wife of Cody Rhodes, Brandi Rhodes, and comedian Beth Donahue.

What’s your take on apple pie versus pumpkin pie?

I never saw a pumpkin pie featured in a movie. The apple pie was one of the most important parts of the movie Trilogy, American Pie. I think that says everything that needs to be said. Apple pie is the best.

What’s something you think people take for granted in life?

Tomorrow. It’s never promised and for many, it never comes. Live every day as if it’s your last… because it might be.

If you could travel anywhere in the world just for the food, where would you go?

Probably Japan. The culture, the beauty of the country, and the incredible culture would just be fringe benefits. Fix me a plate and let’s munch.

Who are worse? Mean gays or mean girls?

Both are psycho and dangerous. I can’t make a choice. I’d just rather stay away from both of them.

Do dreams have meaning?

Every dream has a purpose, whether it’s to provide insight into current situations, help to bring back memories of days past, both good or bad, allow an escape to new worlds and moments, or just provide stimulation for the mind. People who can’t or don’t dream tend to go insane. A dream is a journey of the mind, for whatever reason. ‘Nuff said!

Would you rather have a pet dragon or a pet unicorn?

A unicorn is just a beautiful horse who tends to be a bit horny. And a dragon? A giant lizard who breathes fire and flies. Both would be so cool. I think I’ll go with the dragon for the pet though. I remember the story of Puff the Magic Dragon from my childhood. And Little Jackie Paper just abandoned poor Puff when Jackie was grown up and too big to play with dragons. That asshole! Dragons need love and friends too. He could live under the stairs and I’d call him Spot.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s close up the shop today. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the Magic Shoppe.
