I’m Doug, and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready to rock & rumble? Let’s roll.

According to SRS, Grizzled Young Veterans work for AEW but were never actually signed. Pretty wild that Tony Khan debuted an unsigned team at AEW’s biggest show. Thoughts?

Tony wanted them and signed them to per-appearance contracts. He was only willing to sign them to a limited deal and it worked out for all parties involved. It’s not a big deal.

Is Hangman Adam Page the realest character in AEW?

We’re talking about a guy who hit another man with a cinder block, jammed a needle into another man’s mouth, and burned a guy’s house down. Yeah, he seems like just another average, random Joe from the streets. The most real character in AEW? Orange Cassidy and Danhausen are more believable and real.

Ryback said in his recent YT video that he’s no longer bitter with WWE and is ready to return, only if Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson calls him personally and asks him to return. Thoughts?

I hope that Ryback doesn’t hold his breath waiting on that phone call because I don’t think it will ever happen. I’m sure that The Rock has better things to do than make prank calls. Keep waiting, Ryback. It’s never going to happen, nor shall it.

Allegedly, a multi-man Intercontinental Championship match is being discussed for WrestleMania 41. If so, what kind of match would you like to see and who would you want to see participate?

There is a history of multi-man ladder matches and MITB matches at Mania, and I’m guessing that most likely, we’ll get a Ladder Match. As for who should be in the match, with Breakker, how about Sheamus, Ludwig Kaiser, Dominik Mysterio, Penta, and Omos?

Why are there no female play-by-play, analysts, or color people in the big two companies? Let’s get Veda Scott in there.

WWE has had female commentators in the past with Renee Paquette and Ivory, plus Velvet Sky works in the NWA, but it’s a male-dominated business, and prime announcing spots are hard to come by. I’ve seen Scott working at TNA and she’s not bad, but I don’t see her as anything special. When the right person comes around, they’ll have a spot. The right woman isn’t available right now.

Jazz has been working backstage in TNA as an agent. Would you like to see Jazz return to the ring for one last match? If so, against who?

Jazz is an amazing talent and any chance to see her back in the ring, I’d be a fan of. If Jazz wants to do one last match and have a big send-off for her in-ring career, I’d gladly like to see it happen. As for a final opponent, wouldn’t Jazz versus Tessa Blanchard be a great match to see?

Describe Orange Cassidy in three words or less.

Charismatic, entertaining, and Niche’.

Should AEW have done more to keep Ricky Saints, or was this just a case of him finding a better fit in WWE?

AEW had their chances and dropped the ball, for whatever reasons. He’s capable of much more than he was allowed in AEW, and I think WWE and NXT will be a much better fit.

What are your thoughts on the “Tony fumbled!” chants at NXT during Ricky Saint’s WWE debut match, directed at AEW owner Tony Khan?

Wrestling fans can be very blunt and to the point sometimes. They witnessed what happened with AEW and how Tony dropped the ball with Starks, Miro, Danielson, and so many others. The fans are just calling it as they see it, and yes, it was funny. I marked out and laughed out loud.

Trish Stratus has been announced as an inductee for the 2025 Class of International Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame. Thoughts?

It’s a well-deserved honor to a very deserving pioneer and true wrestling legend. Congratulations to Trish for this honor.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
