I’m Doug, your resident Guiding Light and Party Host. And this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Do you have questions? I have the answers. Are you ready? Let’s roll.

Leyla Hirsch’s AEW contract has expired, and she’s a free agent as of tomorrow. So, what’s next for Hirsch?

I remember Leyla from a few matches and she is a talented wrestler. Most likely, I expect her to show up at TNA and get a feel of the waters for a year or so, before finally moving to WWE and NXT. WWE/NXT has a stacked roster right now and there really isn’t room for another strong female talent, but TNA would put her on the WWE radar, and when the time is right, she’d be there and available.

Stephanie McMahon is launching a podcast. Thoughts?

This is being done through WWE and should make for an interesting listen. Steph has been around the business her entire life and I expect she’ll do well in this role. I will give her a listen to see what she has to say and her perspective on things. It should be good.

What other WWE superstars would make good podcasters?

Just off the top of my head, I think Miz would do well, as maybe Chad Gable, Austin Theory, CM Punk, and Grayson Waller. They have strong personalities, plus charisma. And you know if Miz was doing it, it’d be AWESOME!

Bully Ray thinks that WWE should send Natalya to wrestle in TNA as part of their talent exchange since they’re not using her regularly. Thoughts?

Natalya would be a great candidate for WWE to send to work in TNA. She’s a big name, not being used currently in any stories, and is a model WWE employee who represents the company so very well, that she adds to any roster she’s a part of. She’s too good to sit at home and not be used regularly. TNA would be a great alternative.

Mercedes Mone says that she wants to own a wrestling company one day. Thoughts?

Based on what we’ve seen of Mercedes in AEW, where she has “creative control”, Mercedes is probably the last person that needs to own and run a wrestling promotion. But if that’s what she wants to do, she can work hard and be the female version of Tony Khan. She can’t be any worse.

Do you think Linda McMahon is the right choice for Secretary of Education?

Despite her flaws, Linda is a very intelligent woman with the ability to do any job and handle any situation. Nearly fifty years with Vince has prepared her to be able to handle anything. I think she’ll do an excellent job as the Secretary of Education and serve our country well.

Are you excited about TNA Sacrifice 2025? Are you surprised that TNA is doing more and more ticket sales with every event?

It’s two weeks away so I haven’t had the chance to really think about it, but it looks as if it will be a strong PPV, with lots of talent from both TNA and NXT and be a fantastic show. And no, I’m not surprised that TNA events are doing better.TNA has a good product with good characters, interesting stories, and good matches. They don’t insult the intelligence of the fans and the fans are taking notice.

Do you think Randy Orton should go after Kevin Owens, reunite with Cody Rhodes, or take a different path entirely?

Randy should do what’s best for Randy. I think Owens should be and will be the first order of business, but there is nothing to stop him from challenging Cody at the same time. Wrestlers can multi-task. But Kevin Owens should come first.

Who do you think was behind Jade Cargill’s attack?

I’m still thinking Naomi has something to do with it since she seems to be the one who has benefitted the most from Jade’s absence from the ring and injuries. I don’t think Bianca is as innocent as she appears either, but I think her guilt may be more after the fact rather than being the one responsible for the attack. Let’s go with Naomi.

Sports Illustrated ranked the top women in WWE history with the top 5 being #1. Becky Lynch, #2. Charlotte Flair, #3. Trish Stratus, #4. Lita, and #5. Sasha Banks. Agree or disagree? Thoughts?

This list is full of crap. Top women in WWE history, and The Fabulous Moolah isn’t even in the Top 10? That immediately disqualifies the list from having any credibility. And no mention of Molly Holly, Victoria, Gail Kim, Ivory, Sherri Martel, Awesome Kong, aka Kharma, or Ronda Rousey either. This so-called list is just hype and BS. Nothing more.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects, and I’ll see you at the matches.
