I’m Doug, and this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready to rock & rumble? Let’s roll.

Tony Schiavone states, “Renee Paquette is one of the best that’s ever held a mic. She’s in Gene Okerlund territory.” Thoughts?

I like Renee and she’s a good interviewer. Her former podcast, Oral Sessions, was entertaining. But to say she’s in Mean Gene territory, that’s just not right at all. Total blasphemy.

Fuego Del Sol is set to appear on Ring of Honor TV this week, but his upcoming match is set to be his last for the promotion. Thoughts?

Fuego isn’t the biggest guy, but he has charisma, works hard, and always gets a great reaction from the fans. I hope things work out and he continues to work for AEW and ROH regularly. I’d like to see WWE give him a chance. I think he’d do well in their system.

Which rapper do you want to see appear for WWE?

Why do any have to appear? It’s wrestling, not music, and as The West Texas Rednecks famously said, “Rap is crap!”. If WWE has to have someone, bring back Jelly Roll, and he can bring Yelawolf and Struggle Jennings with him. Those three? Now, that would be fun to see.

MJF had his AEW tattoo removed. Thoughts?

I don’t blame him. It was ugly. Maybe Cody Rhodes will take note and follow his example. One can only hope.

Do you think Prince Nana will betray Swerve?

I’m surprised that it hasn’t happened yet. Nana is booed, while Swerve is cheered. That’s a combination headed for combustion.

Do you want Cope to defeat Moxley?

He may as well be the one. Who else is there in AEW?

WWE’s Netflix Deal is expanding as Netflix wants more content. What would you suggest WWE does to provide more material for the streaming giant?

WWE should go back to what worked on the Network. Roundtable discussions, and podcast interviews by Stone Cold Steve Austin, Stephanie McMahon, R-Truth, Cody, etc. How about Legend’s House? How about shows profiling the territories and legends of the past? The ideas are there, but they just need to be built upon.

Who should Speedball Mike Bailey work first in AEW?

With his quick, explosive style, I think Mike Bailey versus Sammy Guevera would be a good way to put Bailey on the map with AEW fans. Sammy has been there for a while and needs a good feud.

Triple H versus Ivan Koloff. Who wins?

This would be a good match, with an interesting contrast in styles. Hunter is a good wrestler and no doubt, he’d take Koloff to the limit and beyond. But in the end, the experience and wily mind of the Russian Bear would find a way to steal a win. Uncle Ivan wins.

Kendall Windham versus Sam Houston. Who wins?

I liked Kendall, but let’s be serious. Of the Windham family, he was indeed the weakest link. Sam Houston never got the recognition he deserved, but the man could go and in the ring, was probably the most talented member of the Smith family (Grizzly Smith, Jake Roberts, Rockin’ Robin). Sam Houston would win.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you at the matches.
