WWE will present Elimination Chamber this Saturday on Peacock and Netflix from Toronto, Ontario, Canada with a 7:00 PM Eastern start time for the PPV. And here are a few predictions.
Women’s Elimination Chamber Match (for a title match at WrestleMania against the winner of Rhea Ripley vs Iyo Sky on Raw): Liv Morgan vs Naomi vs Bianca Belair vs Roxanne Perez vs Alexa Bliss vs Bayley.
Let’s go ahead and eliminate who will not be winning this match. Naomi and Bianca have Jade Cargill in their future and I suspect that we’ll see Cargill return to make sure that neither of her former partners make it out of the Chamber unscathed. I like the idea of Roxanne winning, but I just don’t see that happening. And I can’t really see Bayley versus Rhea as a WrestleMania headlining event. So that leaves Alexa or Liv Morgan. Alexa versus Rhea would be the fresh match, but look at them side by side. Unless Alexa has the Wyatt Sicks by her side, it would be an absolute mismatch. Liv makes the most sense and watching Liv versus Mami never gets old.
Winner: Liv Morgan
The Deadline for the Rock’s Soul Redemption from Cody Rhodes.
The Rock wants Cody’s soul. Cody says no. ‘Nuff said!
Men’s Elimination Chamber Match (winner faces Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania): Seth Rollins vs CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre vs Logan Paul vs John Cena vs Damian Priest.
Let’s take it one by one and figure out what the plans are for each man at WrestleMania. Seth versus Cody would be a great match, but we’ve seen it many times already, plus I think Seth is in the spotlight of Roman Reigns, with the OTC looking for some payback. So it won’t be Seth. The hype is for John Cena to go after #17, but for some reason, my gut says Cena versus Logan Paul at Mania. Yes, Paul has issues with CM Punk as of this past week, but Paul versus Cena is the money, so let’s go with that for Mania, so that eliminates both of them from this match. Damian Priest is cooling down so he’s not winning either. So that leaves Drew and CM Punk. After Cody’s rejection, I think we’ll see The Rock recruit Drew as his corporate stooge and put the weight of the Final Boss behind Drew, thus leading to Cody versus Drew for Night One of Mania. As for this match, it’s destiny. CM Punk wins and is headed to Night Two to main event WrestleMania against the WWE Champion.
Winner: CM Punk
Unsanctioned Match: Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn.
This should be an amazing and brutal brawl. Look for blood, mayhem, shenanigans, and all sorts of crazy stuff. And in the end, look for Sami to get the win, thus causing Kevin to snap and go for the kill. Kevin has Sami up for the career-ending piledriver and we all hear voices. Randy Orton with the RKO from out of nowhere to save Sami and set up Randy versus Kevin for WrestleMania. Works for me.
Winner: Sami Zayn.
Trish Stratus and Tiffany Stratton vs Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.
They’re in Toronto, Trish’s hometown, so Trish has to win here, right? Usually, that would be the case, but with Mania coming up, Trish will probably need a match. So how about Charlotte gets involved, causes a distraction, and Trish and Tiffy end up taking a loss? Tiffany can deal with Charlotte at Mania, and that gives us Trish versus Nia Jax at Mania. That sounds good to me.
Winners: Nia Jax & Candice LeRae.
