Do you miss Vince McMahon?

As a character, sometimes, I do. Vince, as Mr. McMahon was always interesting and fun to see on TV. But, as the promoter and head of the WWE, not at all. Forget about the scandalous stuff. Vince wasn’t up to par in his role as the head of WWE and it was time to go.

Pedro Morales versus Swede Hanson. Who wins?

Pedro may be a former WWWF Champion, but big Swede Hanson was a stable of the Crockett promotion for many years and as tough as they come. This would be a good match. And if I had any say about it, Hanson would win.

The Mongols (Bepo & Bolo) versus Nikolai Volkoff & The Masked Superstar. Who wins?

What a match this would be, especially when you consider that these very distinct wrestlers are the same people, with Bepo being the early name for Nikolai Volkoff, while Bolo was portrayed by Bill Eadie, who later became more famous as the Masked Superstar. As for who would win, the Mongols were early in the careers of both men. By the time they were Nikolai and Superstar, they were accomplished veterans. Volkoff and Superstar would win.

What are your thoughts & memories of Mad Dog Buzz Sawyer?

Wild, unpredictable, and a true loose cannon. I remember Sawyer when he was first starting, teaming with Matt Borne for Crockett. Two very green rookies, but they had that “It” and were the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions. Later, Sawyer went to Georgia and became a wild man and brawler. His feud with Tommy Rich is still talked about today, nearly 40 years later. Sawyer was also well known for an explosive temper and for taking liberties with other wrestlers. Looking back, he was probably bipolar. A Georgia wrestling legend.

Thoughts and memories of PN News?

PN News was a somewhat charismatic fat guy who wore neon tights, tried to rap, sucked in the ring, and had the catchphrase “Yo baby! Yo Baby! Yo!”. A product of WCW in the early ’90s that is best forgotten. News also had a reputation for allegedly having sticky fingers in the locker room and occasionally helping himself to other people’s wallets and money. I’m not sure if that’s true, but I’ve heard it more than once. After being fired from WCW for intentionally injuring a wrestler, News primarily worked in Europe before retiring in 2016.

Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel versus John Cena & Roman Reigns. Who wins?

Cena and Roman are WWE legends and the best in the business today, but we’re matching them up against Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel here. Roman and Cena would do the JOB and be glad to do it. Harley and Nick would win.

How much money would it take for The Rock to own your soul?

I honestly don’t know. I’m not a wrestler and my soul is not for sale. But if The Rock wants to make an offer, we can have a conversation. My soul may be available for rent or lease.

The Wyatt Sicks logo glitched after Alexa Bliss attacked Roxanne Perez on WWE SmackDown. Does that mean the Wyatt Sicks will be appearing at Elimination Chamber to help Alexa?

It would be cool to see that happen. Alexa and the Wyatt Six as a until could make for some interesting and entertaining television. I don’t expect to see them at the Elimination Chamber, but maybe showing up on Smackdown on Friday isn’t out of the realm of possibility. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

The Wrestling Observer says to expect many possible releases from AEW over the next month. If they’re right, who do you think will be getting a pink slip?

Looking at the roster, I think Danhausen, Saraya, Jon Silver, Aaron Solo, Scorpio Sky, Sammy Guevera, Tay Melo, and Thunder Rosa, all need to be checking their e-mail and phone messages regularly. I just have that feeling that their days are numbered.

Since they’re not doing the Warrior Award for the WWE Hall of Fame anymore, how about a similar award based on someone who truly is a good guy and helps people, the Diamond Dallas Page Award? Thoughts?

Sounds good to me. Dallas has helped so many people, it would be an honor well deserved.
