I’m Doug, your resident Guiding Light and Party Host. And this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Do you have questions? I have the answers. Are you ready? Let’s roll.
Do you feel that Stephanie McMahon was truly responsible for starting WWE’s Women’s Revolution?
Was she solely responsible? Not at all. But does she deserve some credit? If she hadn’t been pushing and advocating for it to WWE management, aka Vince, it never would have been as successful as it turned out, and would have taken much longer than it did. Her advocacy helped a great deal and she should get kudos for that.
No way WWE actually wastes Cena’s last WRESTLEMANIA match on a bozo like Logan Paul, right?
Nope, they’re wasting Cena’s last WrestleMania match on Cody and the WWE Championship instead.
Do you think Jacob Fatu still loves Solo?
You can not like someone but still love them. Yes, Jacob Fatu still loves Solo. He’s just not happy with him at the moment.
Does CM Punk belong in the same conversation as Steve Austin, or is he on a different level?
When talking about WWE superstars who have made an impact, I’d put both men in the same conversation. Obviously, they’re 20 years apart, but both men are legends for WWE.
Do you want to see Trish Stratus involved in WrestleMania?
I’d like to see Trish at WrestleMania doing something. It doesn’t have to necessarily be a match, but it’d be nice to have her there.
Allegedly, WWE is telling talent they are millionaires and can afford a ticket when they ask for comps. Thoughts?
I can see WWE’s point, but I guess that someone was probably taking advantage and exploiting the comps and thus, ruined it for everyone. For the occasional guest, like a parent or sibling, I’m sure WWE would still look the other way and provide comps. For the neighborhood gang and a class reunion, for example, they need to pay, just like everyone else.
John Cena is going to Mania to challenge Cody Rhodes. Right call? Thoughts?
I didn’t like Cena winning and didn’t think it was the right call… until that final segment with Cody and The Rock played out. Now, I’m excited for Mania, and yes, Cena winning was the right call.
Bianca Belair is going to WrestleMania to challenge either Iyo Sky or Rhea. Was this the right call? Are you excited for this match?
Again, this wasn’t my prediction, but physically, Bianca matches up the best with Rhea and it should be a fantastic encounter. I’m looking forward to it.
Jade Cargill is back and she took out Naomi. Thoughts?
So, does this mean Naomi acted alone and is the guilty party, or did Bianca play a part as well? Jade looked totally badass in her attack on Naomi, and I’m actually interested now in seeing how it plays out. Welcome back, Jade.
Cena has joined the Rock as “his champion”. Cena has turned heel. Thoughts?
This whole retirement just got very interesting. Cena turning heel. This is the modern equivalent of Hogan turning and joining Hall & Nash to create the nWo. I was curious about where this whole angle with The Rock was going, and now we know. It’s not what I was expecting. It’s much better. This has made Cena and The Rock both interesting again, something that neither man has been to me, for a long, long time. I’m looking forward to both RAW and Smackdown this upcoming week to see what’s next. It should be good.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects, and I’ll see you at the matches.
