Coming up Sunday night from Los Angeles, CA, is AEW Revolution. It’s a stacked card, and of course, that means some stacked predictions. Let’s break out the Magic 8 Ball and get to work.

“Big Boom!” A.J. and The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe) (with Big Justice) vs. Johnny TV and MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden).

The commercial guy, the company mascot, and the resident redneck/chicken farmer versus two male models and a former WWE Champion. What a match to open the show. Tony likes to keep the crowd happy so the babyfaces win.

Winners: “Big Boom!” A.J. and The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe) (with Big Justice).

Cage Match
Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher.

Aren’t these guys former best friends, or am I thinking about someone else? This should be a decent match, albeit silly for the sake of silliness. Look for Ospreay to win.

Winner: Will Ospreay.

AEW Continental Championship
Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Brody King.

What size is the ring? Hopefully, Brody has recovered enough from that ankle injury in Australia for this match. This should be a good match. My money is on Brody to win some gold.

Winner and NEW AEW Continental Champion: Brody King.

MJF vs. “Hangman” Adam Page.

Why is this not the Main Event? The so-called story has been cringy at best, with homicide attempts on live television, and producers self-abusing themselves. This will be a good match, probably the best of the night, and I expect the fans will have a good reaction. It’s a tough call. If they want the story to keep going, Page should win. If this ends, then MJF gets the victory. I think this continues. Page wins.

Winner: Hangman Adam Page.

AEW Tag Team Championship
The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) (c) (with MVP) vs. The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum).

There is no reason for The Hurt Syndicate to lose… ever. The Outrunners are popular and everyone’s flavor of the month, but they’re not winning. Not now, and not ever.

Winners and STILL AEW Tag Team Champions: The Hurt Syndicate.

AEW TBS Championship
Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Momo Watanabe.

Watanabe is well-known in Japan and is a wrestling legend to be sure. But they’re in the United States and Hulk Moné isn’t going to lose. That’s just not going to work for me, brother.

Winner and STILL AEW TBS Champion: Mercedes Moné.

Swerve Strickland vs. Ricochet.

Fresh after doing their impersonations of Sid and Arn on Dynamite, we now get a wrestling match to determine who the next contender for the AEW World Championship will be. I’m not expecting much for this. A senseless brawl that makes no sense, with no selling, and a few high spots by Ricochet to meet his weekly quota. Swerve versus Mox or Cope makes the most sense to me, so I’m picking Swerve to win.

Winner: Swerve Strickland.

AEW Women’s World Championship – Falls Count Anywhere
“Timeless” Toni Storm (c) vs. Mariah May.

Expect this to be overbooked and sloppy. These two ladies are among the very best in AEW, but this kind of match is not something that AEW does well. Look for Luther to get involved, and I’d expect to see chaos and confusion rule the day. A tough call for sure. I’ll pick Timeless Toni to take the titillating victory.

Winner and STILL AEW Women’s Champion: Timeless Toni Storm.

AEW International Championship
Konosuke Takeshita (c) (with Don Callis) vs. Kenny Omega
.

Kenny Omega should win. Takeshita has Callis with him so there will be shenanigans. We might actually see, for the only time during the night, that the referee does his job and issues a disqualification. Yeah, that makes sense. Omega takes it to Takeshita, dominates the match, and then Callis gets his family involved. The ref calls for a DQ. Omega wins, but Takeshita retains the title.

Winner By DQ: Kenny Omega. Takeshita retains the International Championship.

AEW World Championship
Jon Moxley (c) vs. Cope.

The main event? Yeah, this should be interesting… not. I’m so damn bored with these two clowns. Moxley needs to drop the belt and end this whole Death Riders story. Look for Cope to get the victory after a crazy and bloody brawl. And then, did someone say “Father”? Look for Christian and his family to attempt to cash in. Will he succeed? We’ll see.

Winner and NEW AEW Champion: Adam “Cope” Copeland.

And there you go. Those are my predictions. What are yours? Let me know in the comments, along with any other thoughts or questions you may have. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, I’m out of here. Thanks for reading and the continued support. I’ll see you at the matches.
