I’m Doug, your resident Guiding Light and Party Host. And this is the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Do you have questions? I have the answers. Are you ready? Let’s roll.

Lex Luger is going into the WWE Hall of Fame. Thoughts?

It’s long overdue and well deserved. Congratulations to the Total Package.

Who should induct Lex into the HOF?

It should be either Sting or Dallas Page. Lex said that he wants Sting, so most likely, it will be Sting.

Allegedly, Jade Cargill had an altercation with Shayna Baszler before Jade was written off TV. It’s said that Jade has heat with many people in the WWE locker room. Thoughts?

Jade allegedly told Shayna that she needed to learn how to wrestle, which is very ironic in that Jade has a great look, but is anything, but a good wrestler. My opinion is that Jade believes her own hype and tends to be a bit full of herself. Can you blame anyone for having issues with that? I can’t.

So, it was Naomi all along. Thoughts?

I could have done without the fake tears, and the whole, “I did it for you, Bianca” promo, but it’s good we finally have an answer. Naomi as a heel? This should be interesting.

What if Cody Rhodes had never returned to WWE? Who would have ended Roman Reigns’ historic title reign?

It’s hard to pick a name, but WWE has such a strong roster, that there are plenty of possibilities. Most likely Seth, Randy Orton, or the returning CM Punk.

Should the Hollywood Blonds (Steve Austin & Brian Pillman) be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?

As singles wrestlers, absolutely. Steve Austin has already been inducted, and Brian Pillman deserves that honor as well. But as a tag team? The Blonds were a good team, but they only had a run of about a year at best. It’s a nice footnote in the history of WCW, but not quite HOF-worthy.

Why did WWE send Omos back from Japan if they didn’t plan to use him after he came back? They could’ve let him stay there longer and brought him back whenever they had a plan for him.

This makes no sense to me either. Omos was wrestling in Japan, looking great and building his reputation and character, and then, WWE brought him home to let him sit at home and be wasted. I don’t get it. WWE seems to be dropping the ball with the big man. It makes no sense.

If there was going to be a new Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame and you were tasked with picking ten members (five men, five women) for the initial class, who would you pick?

For the initial class, I’d pick the following. Harley Race, Ric Flair, Bruno Sammartino. Nick Bockwinkle, and Bobby Heenan for the men, and the women, Fabulous Moolah, Trish Stratus, Sherri Martel, Madusa, and Stephanie McMahon.

LA Knight is the new WWE United States Champion, having defeated Shinsuke Nakamura on Smackdown. Thoughts?

The most recent reign of Shinsuke Nakamura was an absolute disaster in my opinion, and LA Knight seems to be their go-to guy in terms of the United States title and Smackdown. I would have liked to see Shinsuke do more with the title, but I understand the switch, especially with WrestleMania coming up.

Alex Hammerstone has announced his departure from TNA. So, what’s next for Mr. Hammerstone? Thoughts?

Hammerstone is a big guy with a great look. WWE and NXT have loaded rosters at the moment and I just don’t see him fitting in there at the moment. Most likely, I think a return to MLW or a trip to AEW are his most likely prospects.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects, and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
