Tonight, in New York City, live on the CW and internationally on Netflix, WWE and NXT, with some love from TNA, presents NXT Roadblock. It’s just regular television, but there are some big matches with huge implications, and you know what that means. Yes, it’s prediction time. Let’s do this.

WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi vs. TNA X-Division Champion Moose.

The way I understand this, and I may be wrong, it’s for the NXT Championship only and not a unification match. Whatever the stipulations, it should be a good brawl and fun to watch. Moose is highly underrated, while Femi is a star on the rise with, in my opinion, a Brock Lesnar-like future ahead of him. I can’t imagine a clean winner here or a clean finish. Femi isn’t losing that belt. I know that much. Let’s say that The System interferes and causes a DQ finish. Femi wins by DQ and retains the title.

Winner by Disqualification: Oba Femi.

TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys vs. WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom.

Are any belts on the line here, or is this just a match for bragging rights? Regardless, it’s the Hardy’s first match back on WWE television in several years and I don’t think they plan on losing. In other words, Frazer & Axiom will be DELETED! Look for Matt & Jeff to win.

Winners: Matt & Jeff Hardy

WWE NXT Women’s Champion GIULIA vs. WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer – Title vs. Title.

This match is listed as a title unification, but the most recent reports I’ve seen say that while the winner will hold both titles, the belts will remain separate. Both of these women are international superstars and as good as they get. This should be a match to rival Charlotte versus Rhea last year at Mania. Yeah, high expectations, but these women can do it. They’re both so good and evenly matched, it’s hard to make a call. My gut says Vaquer for some reason. I don’t know why, but the gut is rarely wrong.

Winner and NEW double champion: Stephanie Vaquer.

Jordynne Grace versus Roxanne Perez

Another match that should be excellent and blow the roof off of the arena. Perez has impressed everyone as of late with her performance at the Royal Rumble, plus her spot in the Elimination Chamber. This young lady is a star. And she’s facing the multiple-time TNA Champion in her first NXT PLE debut. I have no doubts that this will be an excellent match. It’s Grace’s first time in the singles spotlight for NXT, so I expect Grace to get the win.

Winner: Jordynne Grace.

New York City Street Fight
Je’Von Evans versus Ethan Page

Somewhere in Virginia, the legendary Boogie Woogie Man, Jimmy Valiant, is shaking around and screaming, “Have mercy!” about this match. A New York City Street Fight. I haven’t seen one of these in quite a while. It should be a doozy and a helluva brawl. Page won their last encounter, so I’m expecting Evans to win this one. Poor Page’s ego will be crushed.

Winner: Je’Von Evans.

And there you go. So, what do you think? What are your thoughts and predictions? Right now, all roads lead to TNA Sacrifice, live from EL Paso, Texas, on Friday. Thanks for reading and the continued support. I’ll see you on the other side.
