Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s Ultimate X Q&A. Let’s do this.

If you had to pick a theme song for your everyday life, what would it be?

I’d probably go with a classic from Ol’ Waylon. How about, I’ve Always Been Crazy (But It’s Kept Me From Going Insane)? Yeah, that’ll work.

Does age difference matter in a relationship?

It makes things a little harder, depending upon the amount of difference in age, but if the feelings are true, love will overcome and it won’t matter much in the big picture of things. You love who you love.

How much was the minimum wage when you started working?

If I remember correctly, it was $3.10 per hour. Yes, I am that damn old.

What’s the most overrated food trend you’ve seen?

Sushi. How do people eat that crap and pretend it’s good? It’s what? Raw fish, seaweed, and rice? It’s nasty and disgusting, and I don’t care what anyone else says. The only place sushi belongs is in the trash can.

If you could only wear one color for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Black, of course. It’s slimming, plus I tend to look good in it.

If DOGE investigated all 535 members of Congress, how many of them would be guilty of corruption?

Probably about 534 of them. To be a politician is to be crooked and corrupt to some degree. Even if they’re not like that when elected, power corrupts and to survive in Washington, they learn to play the game. There hasn’t been an honest politician since Jesse Helms! I wish I was joking, but I’m not.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would buy?

I’ve answered this one before. After paying off debts and making sure my Mom, my bro, and his family are set and taken care of, I’d buy a small, local radio station and hire my creative and talented friends, to have my own version of WKRP. What can I say? It’s a dream.

What’s the most awkward situation you’ve ever been in?

I shouldn’t admit this, but it was over thirty years ago, so who cares? I was seeing a guy, and we were at his home, getting intimate. And his wife came home and nearly caught us. If we hadn’t heard her talking as she came into the home, she would have gotten a big surprise. We played it off, and I spent the night there, chilling and hanging out with the both of them. That was… interesting.

What’s one thing you wish society would stop obsessing over?

Race. It doesn’t matter. Race is just the cover of the book. It doesn’t matter. What matters is whether are you a good person or not. That’s all that should matter, but everyone wants to play the victim and think they’re better than this person or that person is bad because of the color of their skin. That’s ignorant, childish, stupid, and just downright dumb. Quit playing the racial card, the white supremacy bullshit, and grow the hell up already. ‘Nuff said!

Cake, pie, or ice cream—which dessert reigns supreme for you?

I like all three, but given a choice, I’ll go with the ice cream. It’s not nearly as messy as the other two.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s close up the shop today. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you in the Real World.
