Thoughts & Predictions

Coming up tomorrow, Friday, from El Paso, Texas, is TNA Sacrifice, airing live on TNA. As you well know, a PPV from one of the big 4, that means it’s prediction time. Are you ready? Let’s go.
Street Fight: Sami Callihan vs. Mance Warner.
It came seemingly from out of nowhere, but the build for this between Warner and Callihan has been excellent. This should be brutal, violent, and over rather quickly, but it should make for some fun moments. Look for Steph DeLander to get involved and that will make the difference.
Winner: Mance Warner.
The Rascalz and Ace Austin vs. NXT’s Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe.
This should be fast-paced and a fun match. The Rascalz and Austin have worked well together as of late, united in their contempt for Wes Lee. That being said, can they continue that partnership? I don’t think so. I never vote against Wes Lee. That dude has impressed me. Look for Lee, Dupont, and Igwe to pick up the win as the Rascalz and Austin self-destruct.
Winners: Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe.
Tessa Blanchard vs. Lei Ying Lee.
Tessa is a name and is on her way to the top of the Knockouts Division. Lee? Who is she? Look for Tessa to take the win here.
Winner: Tessa Blanchard.
Mustafa Ali vs. Mike Santana.
Two very good wrestlers in what may be the best match of the night. The story and build have kind of sucked. Ali trying to prove that Santana is a drunk. That’s not PC. Austin and Roberts want their storyline back. But that being said, both men can go and this should be an excellent match. It’s a tough call, but I think Santana needs the win more than Ali does.
Winner: Mike Santana.
Ladder Match: TNA X-Division Champion Moose vs. Jeff Hardy.
Does Moose retain his title and keep going, business as usual in TNA, or does he drop the belt to focus on the rivalry with NXT Champion Oba Femi? No, that’s not over with by a long shot. It’s a tough call and this match? It’s all in Jeff Hardy’s element and favor. After losing to Femi this past week, Moose needs the win more than Hardy does.
Winner and STILL TNA X-Division Champion: Moose
TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich vs. NXT’s Cora Jade.
The NXT versus TNA rivalry has been hot and nowhere is that better represented than in this match right here. These two women are excellent workers, although I hate Slamovich’s name, as I’ve explained many times before. This should be an excellent match. But, will we see a title switch? I don’t think so. All signs point towards Masha versus Tessa in the immediate future, and a victory by Jade would screw that up.
Winner and STILL TNA Knockouts Champion: Masha Slamovich.
10-Man Tag Team Cage Match: Joe Hendry, Matt Hardy, Elijah, Leon Slater, and Nic Nemeth vs. The System and The Colons.
This is a multi-man match that will be chaotic, wild, and fast-paced, as TNA struggles to get as many names in one match as they can. One team is stacked with the TNA Champion, the former Champion, two former WWE legends, and the up-and-comer versus the annoying faction that keeps buzzing around, like a mosquito in the ear. This one can only go one way, which is why I’m thinking we’ll see a swerve. Do you think Nic Nemeth is happy about teaming with the man who took his TNA Championship away from him? I don’t think Nic believes in Joe Hendry, and he’ll make that obvious as he joins ranks with The System and The Colons. And to quote the Colon’s family member in WWE, that would be cool. Look for betrayal and an upset.
Winners: The System and The Colons.
And there you go with my thoughts and predictions. What are yours? Let me know, along with any other thoughts, comments, or questions. Thanks for reading, and I’ll catch you later. I’ll see you at the matches.
