Should AEW cut back its number of title belts?

I’ve been saying this for a while. Between AEW titles, ROH championships, and the recurring visits from New Japan Pro Wrestling and CMLL, it seems as if everyone on the roster is a champion. Less is more and having so many titles, they don’t mean anything. Everyone is just given a participation trophy for showing up, aka a championship belt. Too many? Hell yeah!

Should Brock Lesnar join AEW at this point?

At this point, if he’s not under contract to WWE, depending on if he even wants to wrestle, AEW and Brock would be a great fit. It’s the kind of schedule that Brock likes, plus Tony has the money to pay him whatever he wants. It would also be a great ratings boost and be great for AEW. If Brock is interested, I’d say to go for it and become All Elite for a year or so.

Kid Kash, who retired in 2017, announced he’s returning to the ring and is accepting bookings again. Thoughts?

This, I’m glad to see. Kash is a damn good wrestler, plus a very cool dude. And he gave me the flu one time. Long story. I’ll explain it someday. But I’m glad to see the man back in the world of pro wrestling. Hopefully, WWE or TNA will take notice and give him a call. He’s a great asset to any promotion he works for.

MVP gave MJF his card! What are your thoughts?

MJF as part of the Hurt Syndicate? Why am I getting flashbacks of Owen Hart and the Nation of Domination? It would be an interesting story and fun to watch, but I can’t see a peaceful coexistence in the group with MVP, Lashley, and Max. But of course, that may be the point. It makes no sense, but what the hell? I’d watch it.

What’s your take on MJF’s booking in AEW at this point?

MJF has gone from being a future legend and top guy to just another dude on that roster. Max can talk, but he keeps going through the motions and it’s just a shadow of the excellent promo skills we saw from Max two years ago. Max needs a major reboot and a strong story. And Adam Page? That’s just not it.

Should Seth Rollins vs CM Punk vs Roman Reigns main event night one of WrestleMania?

It sounds good to me. Book it, Triple H & Dwayne.

Does Cope vs Swerve interest you?

A rising star who is quickly becoming boring and stale versus a washed-up former legend who wants to help the kids by burying every single one of them to keep his facade alive. No, this potential feud has no interest for me at all.

Do you think Giulia will reclaim her spot at the top of NXT’s women’s division?

Will she be the NXT Women’s Champion again at some point? As the Magic 8 Ball would say, It is certain.

Would you have wanted to see CM Punk vs. Moose in TNA Wrestling?

According to Moose, there were plans for CM Punk to make some appearances in TNA and have a program against Moose, the current TNA Champion. And yeah, I would have popped for that. It’s an interesting contrast in styles, but both men could have made it work and provided some good wrestling and television. Maybe we’ll get it someday. Who knows?

Two weeks in, what is your opinion of WWE Evolve?

So far, I like it. It’s a flashback to the style of studio wrestling that I grew up on, and they’ve kept it simple, allowing the spotlight to be on the talented men and women. For most wrestling shows, I can take or leave, but Evolve has become one of the few that I make a point to watch. Yes, the kids are green, but they’re showing some good moves and potential. Of all the WWE programming, and there is a lot of it, Evolve is quickly becoming my must-see of the week.
