Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s Ultimate X Q&A. Let’s do this.

What gives your life meaning?

A few certain people, that damn cat of mine, and the creativity inside of my body and soul being exposed to the world at large. Good people, a great pet, and creative expression. What more does a man truly need?

How many hours of sleep do you think you average per night?

I probably get about 6 to 8 hours of sleep a day, but not all at one time. I sleep two hours here, an hour there, and maybe two more hours at night. Long, restful sleep and I are strangers.

What is something you are great at cooking?

My specialties are chili, BBQ chicken, and trouble. I can cook up trouble better than anyone. And Thanksgiving Dinner. My one time a year to go all out in the kitchen. Always an enjoyable moment.

Have you ever had an actual $2 bill before?

I have had many of them. I worked in retail for many years and had several stored away, along with silver dollars, silver certificates, and other coins. Bad judgment on my part and allowing the wrong person in my home took care of that though. I love the guy and always will, but I hate a damn thief.

Is a hot dog a sandwich?

It’s meat slapped between some bread. It’s a sandwich.

Chinese Food OR Mexican Food?

While I admit to a strong fondness for Mexicans, I will always prefer Chinese Food.

What’s the first word that comes to your mind that can go before or after ‘hot’?

For before, how about “Smoking Hot!”. As for after, “Hot Child in the City!”.

How do you stay positive?

I don’t. I fake it until I make it and no one is the wiser.

What’s the greatest speech in film/TV?

How about this classic monologue from The Joker in The Dark Knight? It earned Heath Ledger an Academy Award. I think it’s worthy.

Why are some people so dumb?

Maybe it’s upbringing. Maybe it’s the environment. Maybe it’s brainwashing. Maybe it’s just the “D” after their name when listing party affiliation. Who knows? Why ask why?

If you were the captain of a pirate ship, what would be the name of your ship?

The Alice, of course… named after you know who.

If you could only communicate using one sound for a day, what sound would it be?

I don’t know Morse code very well so that rules out tapping. One sound to get my meanings across? How about whistling? Just call me, Whistler. Yeah, that’ll work.

If you were a wrestler what would be your entrance theme song?

My music for every time that I enter a room? How about, Hello Hooray, by Alice Cooper? It’s the perfect entrance music for every event.

Do you still call people ma’am and sir?

Of course, I do. I worked in retail for over forty years. It’s ingrained into the mind and body. Plus, my parents brought me up right to have manners and respect.

Have you had a paranormal experience?

I’ve had several. I shared a home with what I believe to be the spirit of my landlord’s mother for a couple of years. I’ve seen and heard many strange things. And when my stepfather passed away from cancer at his home, the clock here at our house fell off the wall at the same moment. Yes, the paranormal and I, we’re quite acquainted.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s close up the shop today. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you in the Real World.
