Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Which match should headline Night #1 of WrestleMania 41?

As things stand right now, and we’re not even sure if this will be a match yet, I’d have the triple threat match with Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins.

Do you believe there are backstage problems with Jade Cargill in the WWE?

I don’t know enough to speculate, but given the strong push that Jade has gotten since coming to WWE, despite her poor in-ring skills, some resentment seems very likely.

What do you think about the Queen of the Ring actress exposing the business on a live mic during AEW Revolution?

A B-rate actress who is listed thirteenth in the credits was asked a question she was not prepared to answer but lacks the common sense to answer it properly. That’s Hollyweird for you.

On Smackdown, The Street Profits defeated DIY to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship. Thoughts?

I like these random and surprise title switches on television. They’re so out of nowhere, that it makes the TV must-see because anything can happen. The Street Profits are a good team, certainly more over with the fans than DIY, and it’s good to see them back in the spotlight again and getting their flowers.

My friend keeps arguing with me that WWE got better because AEW was created. I say it was because Vince McMahon got bounced out. Thoughts?

How about agreeing to meet in the middle because it’s a combination of both? Competition brings out the best and inspires harder work and better creativity, which happened. But removing the obstacle that was Vince McMahon, as well as installing new leadership with Triple H, was a major factor as well.

Last night was Lilian Garcia’s last night as the ring announcer for Smackdown. Thoughts?

I was bummed at first when I saw this, but after looking into it, not so much. Lilian isn’t leaving WWE and will still be the ring announcer for Saturday Night’s Main Event. She’ll also be working on other projects for WWE, continuing her music career, and continuing her podcast. Garcia has plenty to keep her busy, and I guess that the traveling every weekend for Smackdown was just too much.

Wendi Richter has finally responded to the challenges from Toni Storm and says she’ll wrestle Storm, for twenty million dollars. Thoughts?

Wendi has been retired since 2005 and is 64 years old, so I doubt she’s ready to step into the ring anytime soon. But, she’s aware of the challenge by Toni Storm and has named her price to make it happen. Let the negotiations begin.

MJF recently said that he believes that taking on more work in Hollywood will have a positive effect on the promotion as a whole. Thoughts?

If the promotion is behind him and helps promote the movies where MJF appears, it could and would be a positive move, but AEW didn’t do that for Queen of the Ring, or any other movies featuring AEW talent, at least not as of yet. MJF getting jobs in Hollywood and taking acting roles benefits one person and one person only… and that’s MJF.

Was Travis Scott’s slap too much, or was he making the moment feel real?

A black eye and a busted eardrum. It was too much.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects, and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
