I’m Doug, the man with all the answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready to rumble? Let’s roll.
Do you think Tony Kahn would let Sting, under contract to AEW, induct Lex Luger in the WWE HOF?
Tony Khan is capable of many things, but I don’t think he’d alienate Sting by telling him no. If Sting wants to do it, he will, and Tony will gladly allow it.
Alex Wright, Marc Mero, Brian Pillman & Steve Austin versus Jimmy & Jey Uso, Roman Reigns, and Solo Sikoa. Who wins?
This would be an awesome match, but the outcome is pretty easy to determine. The WCW alumni are not used to being a team. The Bloodline is not only a team, but a family. The Bloodline wins.
Who are your early favorites to win Money in the Bank?
For women, I think Indi Hartwell is a good option. As for the men, Grayson Waller is my choice.
Chelsea Green recently said that she wants to face Nikki Bella in a hair versus hair match at WrestleMania 41. Thoughts?
A bald Bella or a bald Chelsea? What a choice. What a match. This match has money written all over it. Yes, I’d like to see it happen.
Would you like to see Steve Austin involved in some type of on-screen role for WWE?
Nope. Austin is a great character and a true wrestling legend, but if he appeared regularly, he’d overshadow most of the current roster with just his mere presence. The occasional guest cameo is fine, but WWE doesn’t need Stone Cold for anything more than that right now.
Would you want to see Wendi Richter vs. Toni Storm in AEW?
Wendi is 63 years old and has been retired from active wrestling for nearly two decades. While it’d be interesting to see them do maybe a one-off promo against each other and work an angle with Wendi in a managerial role, I have no desire to see them get physical. It most likely would not be a pleasant sight.
Should pro wrestling bring back the over-the-top-rope, automatic disqualification rule?
While I appreciated and understood the rule and why it was there back in the day, wrestling has changed so much, that bringing that rule back wouldn’t work and would hinder the talent more than anything else. Best to leave that particular rule in the past where it belongs.
If Paul Heyman were to manage a female talent, who would you pick as the #1 Paul Heyman girl?
Just to note, there have been Paul Heyman Girls in the past. Madusa, as part of the Dangerous Alliance in WCW. But as for now, I’d say Shayna Baszler. Shayna has all the tools to be a big star and is essentially a less charismatic Brock Lesnar or Ronda Rousey. But with Heyman at her side as an advisor or advocate, that could easily be what she needs to move to the next level.
Should Will Ospreay be the one to take the AEW World title off of Moxley?
If Darby doesn’t get back from that mountain climbing soon, they may as well go with Ospreay. I’d personally prefer to see Christian Cage or Bobby Lashley do the honors, but Ospreay is more likely right now than either of those two.
Liv Morgan versus Ivory. Who wins?
As big a fan as I am of WWE Hall of Famer, Lisa Moretti, aka Ivory, this match would still go to Liv. It’d be a good fight, but Liv is the real deal and would pick up the win.
