Every day, my Twitter feed is filled with dozens of random questions. This is where I provide the answers. It’s Ultimate X Q&A. Let’s do this.
If you could go back in time to attend one concert or festival, which one would that be?
The original Woodstock. It would be an experience for the ages and a moment to remember.
Do you have the life you deserve?
I must have done something pretty damn bad in my younger years or an earlier life because fate has kicked me in the nuts a few times. But karma is a bitch and I guess that there’s a reason for it all. Damn, I just don’t always know why?
Should people be able to buy stuff like chips, candy, and soda with food stamps?
People have different tastes and enjoy different kinds of food. We don’t need food police to determine what we can or can’t put in our bodies. We’re adults and that should be our call. So yes, they should be allowed.
Do you put ketchup on your eggs?
Not recently, but I have done it in the past. It’s not a regular occurrence, but it has happened.
If you had to choose between unlimited money and unconditional love, what would you pick?
I’ll take the money. No love is truly unconditional and at this point in my life, I’ll just rent it as needed.
If your life was a sitcom, what would the title be?
Easy answer. It’d be Tossing Salt. And if the producers didn’t allow that and made me part of a more group-orientated show, I’d go with Strange Alliances, because that describes more of my relationships throughout my life. On paper, they don’t make sense, but they seem to work.
If you had to live in a house made of food, what would it be made of?
Gingerbread. It’s what all the better witches and fairy tale legends live in.
What is the next big thing that you are aiming for?
Repairing a damaged relationship and making a few videos for the site. I sent a text earlier today regarding the first thing, and I’ve been outlining some ideas for the second, so it’s a plan in motion.
Who was the REAL VILLAIN in The Wizard of Oz?
That horrid bitch, Glinda, the so-called good bitch. She manipulates Dorothy to take out her rivals, the two wicked witches and the Wizard of Oz, allowing her complete control of Oz. She was all sweet and loving on the surface, but she’s a foul, disgusting, and evil tramp.
If you were on the run and had to choose a state to hide in, which state would you choose and why?
I’d go to California. As for why, that state is so screwed up, nobody goes there willingly, and thus, I could easily get lost in the masses of illegal immigrants, drug addicts, and lefty nutjobs. It would be the perfect place to hide.
If you could have one more day with anyone, who would you choose?
James Kever Rowell. An old friend who left this world way too soon. He’s been on my mind quite a bit lately, and will always live on in my memories and heart. I’d just love to see him and be able to talk to him again. I miss that guy!
What can really annoy you in a person, whether you know them or not?
Watching people do stupid things, like excessive drinking, using drugs, and having no respect for themselves. I’ve been there and done that and I hate to see anyone walk that same path, especially when I know they’re capable of so much more and better than that.
If you were hosting a food-themed party, what would the theme be?
I’d want it to be a potluck party, where everyone brings a dish that they like. It’d be a random gathering of friends and there would be no telling what’s on the menu until we’re gathered and ready to eat. I like a little mystery.
What coach/player pairing is the greatest of all time in any sport?
Two pairs of legends immediately came to mind. One is the tandem of Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. With Brock as the wrestling machine, and Heyman as his advocate, they ruled the world of pro wrestling. And the other? Dean Smith and Michael Jordon. The greatest college basketball coach of all time, plus the best player ever. Does it get any better?
Are there any podcasts that you think everyone should listen to?
Brent doesn’t do the SMF Cyberspace Podcast anymore, and I haven’t started one, yet, so I can’t name either of those. I’ll just say Chris Van Vliet’s Insight, the Jim Cornette podcasts, The Experience and The Drive Thru, and the You Should Know podcast, hosted by Peyton & Cam. Those two guys are freakin’ hilarious.
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s close up the shop today. Take care and be well, my friends. I’ll see you in math class.
