Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Saraya says that she’s coming to the end of her wrestling career very soon. Thoughts?

By all rights, her career should have ended a few years ago after WWE refused to medically clear her to wrestle. Saraya was a talented young woman, but rather than accept her fate, she went to AEW and totally destroyed what remained of her name and reputation. She deserves better, and I hope that she finds it. But unless it’s a role as of yet undetermined as maybe an agent or scout, her career as a wrestler has long been over. She’s just starting to realize it.

Thoughts on the retirement of Homicide?

It’s sad and a big shame. Homicide is a wrestling legend in the rings up north and has had a remarkable career. Here’s wishing him the best and a great future. He will be missed. He was that damn good.

What are your thoughts on the Jon Moxley/Cope street fight on AEW Dynamite? And yes, thoughts on THAT spot?

The match was forgettable except for THAT spot. And that was pure stupidity on the part of both men. So many things could have gone wrong, and for what? I’ve seen plenty of wild spots over the years, but never have I seen one that immediately made me scream, “Idiots!” And now, I have.

Should Earl Hebner go into the WWE Hall of Fame?

I’m not discounting all that he’s done in professional wrestling and his many contributions to the business, but he was fired from WWE when he and his brother were caught selling bootleg WWE merchandise at a business they owned. That’s not a good way to end a relationship. I would say no to his admittance into the HOF.

The Great Muta versus Abdullah the Butcher. Who wins?

Muta wins by a DQ finish. And the fans go home happy.

Allegedly, two names being talked about by WWE for the HOF this year are Ken Shamrock and Kamala the Ugandan Giant. Thoughts?

Both men are very well deserving and would make great additions to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025. I’d support both inductions.

Do you miss Bryan Danielson?

Honestly, no, I don’t. Out of sight and out of mind, I guess. He wasn’t quite what he used to be in the past few years of his career and to be honest, I’d quit watching. I wish him a happy and healthy future, but so far as the ring goes, I moved on long ago.

Who would win in a fight?: Samoa Joe, Joe Hendry, Joe Doering, Gypsy Joe, Joe Tessatore or Hobo Jo?

While I believe in Joe Hendry, Samoa Joe would come out the victor in this epic encounter.

If you’d pursued a wrestling career what would have been your dream promotion to wrestle in and your dream opponent?

If I had a career in the ring, Lord help us all, my dream promotion would have been the NWA and most likely, Jim Crockett Promotions and the Mid-Atlantic territory. And the dream opponent? A partner of my choice and I against the Midnight Express, with Jim Cornette.

How about Chris Bey for the Warrior Award at the WWE HOF? Yes or no?

That would be an excellent choice and very inspiring. Hopefully, someone in WWE is paying attention and has the same idea.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap it up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for foreign objects, and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
